I’ve had similar thoughts re stamina and high tempo. But how many full Everton games have we watched, and of those where he played 90 minutes? Super quick, tenacious and quick thinking but only really seen this in clips/highlights. If he says he needs more endurance/fitness/stamina he will get it. I’ve high hopes for young Anthony.

Take your point, but not sure it would be as much of an obstacle if as much of the near Terrace is as he describes is owned by a business wringing money out of student letting. Plenty of other options, including out of town or couple of miles over the river, which would serve purpose.

I think he’d be/have been a great signing. Imagine having had him as an option at key times last season? Could have been the difference between an exceptional and a best in living memory season. I’m just not getting the vibes that he is still an option, whether price, wages, or our location, something seems awry/misaligned. Guess we can’t expect all (most?) to be chomping at the bit to sign for us. Shame as he could be involved in something truly special/career enhancing. No worries; we’ll move on.
