  1. Faint heart never won fair laddie.
  2. I thought Tonali was… let’s have him too.
  3. Hate the Telegraph, but would be prepared to look past that and let them have this scoop ?
  4. Wants to be on the winning side next year (Rodney…).
  5. Bold move that man @HaydnNUFC ?
  6. Not sure I want him now, after a bit of enthusiastic DennisWising, I am seeing a fluid flexible fantastic fhree (?‍♂️) of Bruno alikees—t’other two being Tonali and Szoboszlai (apologies to Longstaff and Willock).
  7. The queerest of the queer The strangest of the strange The coldest of the cool The lamest of the lame The numbest of the dumb Profound. (The profou… nah! Not joining in!)

  9. Anyone know much about Tonali? Sounds exceptional to me (can’t recall seeing him play). https://www.footballfancast.com/newcastle-eddie-howe-bruno-guimaraes-sandro-tonali-premier-league-transfer-news-rumours-nufc/
  10. First phrase (genuinely uttered aloud and not said since I was about 15…) was ‘fucking cockblob’ ? Which probably captures my true exasperation better than ‘Really?’ and btw I’m guessing 6th next year. Which I’d be fine with, though is probably low for European champions ?

7 at second time of asking! Who knew Plough Lane would be so small!
  13. Ah, but real sports science would tell you that the whole barely adequate facial hair thing they’ve both got going on is a contraindication. Less pass on the bumfluff barstewards.
  14. Well, the headline/most important bit; we’ve signed another really promising young player. Plus, I kind of get a kick (and double-take) that we are now a team who can afford to sign someone with top drawer ‘potential’, to the extent that a European champion wants him on loan.

From embedded interview (7 months ago): How would you describe your style of play? “I see myself as an all-rounder. I like to get on the ball, I like to create opportunities for the team. And even without the ball, I try to get better and better all the time. So, I would say creating for the team, and just being there. I want to be a key player in every team I play in. And I like a bit of flair sometimes as well. That’s how I would describe it.” https://khelnow.com/football/2022-11-world-football-bundesliga-2022-23-felix-nmecha-interview

Young already a full international (just), promising with development potential. Canny!
  17. Well, not as much excitement in here as I expected to find. Delighted personally.
