I'm not telling what anyone should think but that last line is completely untrue. We all know that the only reason they are buying Newcastle is sportswashing their image and moving the conversation to something else than their human rights situation. So it naturally is tied to what happens in Saudi Arabia. You can't just separate the two things at that point. Whether you give a s*** or not is another matter. Oddly, given the result, Rob Lee vs. Chelsea. FA Cup semi-final. Was just so desperate to see us score at Wembley, it felt amazing. Closely followed by Shearer semi-final goal against Spurs, at Old Trafford. I was convinced that was the year.

There’s nothing mediocre about a career in the premier league. I would imagine that clinging onto that for as long as is possible is the (realistic) main goal of most young professionals.
