There are a number of ways to look at Eddie’s stats (win percentage etc.). Here’s a breakdown of a few: 1) since official first game; 2) with a little settle in time to influence (and first window); 3) 2022 calendar year; 3) 2023 calendar year (to date); 4) his portion of 2021-22 season; 5) 2022-23 season.

I wonder if we’ve previously paid over the odds (salary wise) for players on a free? Have a vague memory of seemingly ridiculous figures being previously leaked but can’t recall who or when.

If it was a £40m fee and £120k per week for three years, then total contract value would be £58.7m, so circa £5.8m for the agent (nice work, if you can get it…). £200k for three years, with no transfer fee, would be circa £3.1m for the agent (both assuming a 52 week payment schedule). Outrageous really.

Just wanted to finish-off the top four prediction chart. As you know we made it, with 71 points (1.87 ppg). As you can hopefully see, we finished three points above the PL average points total for 4th place and two points below the average PL average for third.

Well that keeps it exciting for the last week! Thought it was seven points but I was near enough with the guesstimate!

He was first choice on my wish list last time of asking and still think he would be a phenomenal signing. He looked really gutted (in context of his side just winning the league!) at how little he’d featured/been backed by Pep. Eddie would boost him massively.
