  1. He’s got a rick in him, but so has Botman. That said love watching them both play. They’ll not replace Schar and Burn any time soon though. The old war horses aren’t ready to be put out to pasture.
  2. He’s a doubt. Back injury (I signed him last week 🤷‍♂️)
  3. Would like to see Elanga, Woltemade and Gordon (Nic and the Ants) for the first half. Not just for pitch time together but to give Bradford a headache and hopefully give any of them a goal (or one each!) for confidence. edit: maybe we should have re-signed Adam Armstrong 🤔
  4. Drilling it home from unusually tight angles is what he does (…which could be an interesting google search!)
  5. He’s probably installing a full kitchen in record time.
  6. Get a large mate. I went up a size as it said tight fitting, and shouldn’t have done. Snug fit around shoulders and chest but roomy around the midriff. Great quality though (material and finish).
  7. I think he does feel like he owes us/is committed to the cause. Just hoping that he doesn’t think his repayment is this season alone. He will definitely be on the radar and wish list of tier 1 clubs. As others have said his length of stay with us probably depends on how we’re doing and his faith regarding further improvement in the competitiveness of the squad/club.
  8. Good to hear. Need good people like him, and the wisdom he’s accrued, to stay in the game.
  9. Well here’s the kind of stat that terrifies me (from .com): “It's a decade since United last lost a League Cup tie at Gallowgate in 90 minutes, when Championship Sheffield Wednesday beat the PL hosts 1-0 in a Third Round tie.”
  10. I’ll be surprised if Joelinton and Bruno don’t feature, for an hour. Plus Ramsdale and Osula to start. Elanga seems more likely than Murphy and perhaps t’other Murphy in defence with Thiaw, Botman and Krafth. Gordon could, I think, play and still be ok for Arsenal.
  11. Yep, I’m also confident that we’ll have a stronger than usual second half of the season (fingers crossed re injuries) as our newbies become fully established.
  12. Harsh I think. The tug (fnaar fnaar Finbar) whether enough to topple him, definitely delayed him getting to the ball and potentially turning for a shot. Even a second’s delay makes all the difference in such situations.
  13. 35 goals in 53 games last season, including 8 in Champions League. Regardless of performances and overall contribution, the numbers speak for themselves.
  14. We might still be able to piss on their chips this season. Probably would have done already had Gordon not seen red (…never a more apt use of the phrase).
