  1. If Pope looks fully back, this makes perfect sense to me.
  2. Start a threa… (too soon?)
  3. If it was him vs Grealish decision, regardless of what Talk Sport (and guests) think, it’s obviously the right choice. Here’s to two player of the tournament gongs in a row 🤞
  4. Now that, my friends, is a healthy attitude for a footballer to have towards his career.
  5. Or/and revel in Isak dropping him on his arse?
  6. You’re coming down with a nasty case of Low Toon Esteem. Have a stottie immediately!
  7. Nobody soon. Major recruitment crisis looming. Only one person likes green and he’s shit at football. It’s worrying; keep up.
  8. There’s a a Firth of ‘Worth’ wide chasm between your take and mine. It’s easy to get sucked into speculation (see the Tosin nailed on narrative), scaremongering (Bruno), the disappointing but largely irrelevant (ECL), and totally irrelevant (DoF stuff), in the football journalistic void we have entered. We’ll do what we need to do, will have multiple targets, and are as likely to have some nice surprises as we are to have disappointments.

Three hatricks, Osimhen, Isak and Mbeumo?
  10. Watch young Lewis Miley running with the ball, next then you get the opportunity. Really reminds me of Waddler.
  11. I was an absolute legend, in my own mind. Best position: left back in the changing room. Played against Gazza and taught him everything he knows—about coping with life. Joking aside, played at a decent level as a boy but I would have been far better if I played to my physical strengths: tall athletic/good engine but wanted to be a dribbler/winger or playmaker type. Suspect I would have stood out more, and made a much better, central defender.
  12. Wait until Miggy’s sold, the vacuum will create some kind of nuclear implosion! (oh! Forgot about other local targets)
  13. Best season for was in Championship and making us sing that song all night: 12 goals, plenty of involvement critical to promotion and, therefore, all that came next.
  14. Good luck young man. Plenty of players have taken a setback like this and gone on to thrive. Hope he’s one of them.
  15. Farewell sweet prince. 190 ish games 20 broken corner flags… . Key to winning Championship trophy. Good player for us and great personality to have around the place.

    Paul Dummett

150 odd PL appearances; 45 in Championship winning season. 12 seasons in total. Plenty of meaningful contributions and a great asset for a long time. Farewell sweet prince. Hope you tag on a couple of seasons additional playing time and have plenty of fun in the twilight years.
  17. Bloody Man Utd. Their lowest ever PL finish, we eventually finish above them, then they go and win the FA Cup and secure European football; at our expense to boot. Is your name Kevin @Froggy and do you have a full length sheepskin jacket.

He’s shown he’s capable. Don’t think he’s at the point where it is his shirt to lose, but imagine he will play a significant number of games.
  19. 😂 premature but funny and I’m sure you could weave in slow Manc bastard if it doesn’t come to pass.
  20. Just a joy to watch. That combination vision, touch, technical skill and passion. What a player, what a man.

    Joe Willock

I know ‘availability’ is in the forefront of everyone’s mind after last season. However when he is fully fit, I think Joe is a better player than he was when he played for Arsenal and has nothing to prove as far as I’m concerned. He has everything you need capability wise to be an absolutely top drawer midfielder. He also seems a top man to have in your team. He turns 25 this year and the next two seasons or three seasons could/should be the peak of his career.
  22. Oh dear. No. 2 post hasn’t benefited from ‘helpful’ feedback.
