She's a dreamer. There's a parallel universe out there where her and Keegan worked together. Both excellent at selling the dream. Making assumptions about mistakes and laying it all on PCP is naïve, PIF still signed off on everything. The difference right now is there is nobody to sell a dream. Mental fatigue, physical fatigue. We’ve played a lot of football in the last few weeks and it caught up. Bournemouth were the best we’ve played all season. Very well organised and confident on the ball. They were stronger than us and wanted it more. It was obvious we were losing the game but shipping the two late goals leaves a bad taste. Was so sloppy. We don’t seem to be able to win games when we aren’t playing well, feast or famine.

If he could have ever learned to kick with his right foot.. In fairness he did have a lovely link up with Bruno that season. When he's not on the pitch now i can see sometimes he's looking for passes like that but nobody is making those runs.

He's a player who was valued above 20m before he became a free agent. Plenty of time for him to improve, but he really only managed to fill a Dan Burn subs bench shaped hole (who in turn was filling a Botman shaped hole) since he's joined. It's hard to imagine him getting above that. I'd probably even have a fully fit Lascelles ahead of him so if he can move on for a tidy sum then so be it.

Man City's finances are on steroids so not a good comparison. We seem to be doing things in the right way which in some ways is admirable, but we'll forever lag behind those other clubs until we get a bit cheeky. I'm choosing to believe that PIF are making long term subtle moves that will position us well over a longer period of time, although there's not a whole heap of evidence to support that. Announcing a massive stadium development will for sure add to our revenue over that longer period of time but really, i think showing that commitment would do wonders as well because currently, we really don't know what their end game is.

He was always going to turn it around as that's been the way of it, it's when the next international break kicks in or when we have a run of games likes the ones we do coming up in the PL. 4 winnable games, more so than what we've just done. That's when we have tended to slip up. If we can keep that consistency through all that then maybe we have turned a corner.

Any new or existing stadium should have a system hooked up that reads decibel levels and displays it to the crowd like a sort of power bar. It would become it's own thing.. one club does it and the rest will follow. Supporters trying to outdo each other etc.

Pope's kicking is a massive issue and it's been highlighted enough that everyone can see it now. I suspect when you're working with players on a daily basis you will pick up on things differently than a supporter will, especially if you've been the one to sign said player. Like thinking the sun shines out of your children's arses etc. So potentially it's taken Howe this long for the penny to drop.
