  1. It was voted down by the other 14 clubs, the 6 clubs laughably also rejected it after the media storm. How do you know it wasn’t linked to our takeover, there was 40 plus clandestine meetings with 6 clubs and PL board behind everyone’s back. What we’re they discussing in these meetings ? The fact they even wanted a law inserted like that would indicate they would be heavily opposed to our takeover.
  2. They did more than say ‘ah shit’ though didn’t they PBP wanted it enshrined in the PL rule book that the 6 clubs could veto rival takeovers if it didn’t suit them. Disclosure will hopefully tell us exactly how much Masters and Hoffman we’re complicit / knew about this plan. Only then can you say with any authority there was no coordinated effort.
  3. With Leeds, Villa, West Ham and Everton all starting to show a bit of ambition we will be truly fucked if this doesn’t come off. The club is literally falling to bits on and off the pitch. Regardless of separation in what world does the PL see Ashley as a fit and proper owner, whilst denying the whole city and region this transformative investment. It’s fucking criminal how a couple of smarmy rats like Masters and Hoffman can get away with this at the behest of other clubs and a foreign tv station. When this goes through and I 100% believe it will by hook or crook, I hope we are fucking unbearable to live with and rub every fuckers nose in it for a very long time. We’ll be like a caged animal released and nobody will be stopping this juggernaut once it starts rolling again. HTFL
  4. Aye, suppose that would depend on PIF hanging around, hopefully the threat of disclosure alone will be a breaking point for the PL. This independent Govt review could also be a game changer later this year. The PL’s ability to decide ownership may be completely taken away from them. I’m still leaning towards out of court settlement if the CAT case has been given go ahead. Hopefully the anti competition case has been the winning move by Ashley.
  5. This also agrees with Keith’s take on Friday.
  6. This lad has similar thoughts to yourself on the CAT case Jackie. The test does seem very broad in nature as to who can be considered a person of influence. Hopefully the arbitration can apply common sense when considering the reasonable influence the state would have on the day to day running of a football club. The PIF law doc does suggest the board would have autonomy in appointing directors to NUFC and decision making without referring to CEDA.
  7. Looks well and ready for action next week to me.
  8. Considering Keith speaks to O’Donoghue I’d have thought he’d have a pretty good idea of the process. If he’s wrong so be it but sounds encouraging to me.
  9. He’s just been on Wraiths podcast slating itk accounts this week. For all his faults I don’t think he’s into leading folk up the garden path. I suspect he knows it’s now going ahead.
  10. Keith seems sure the case is going to run, otherwise we’d have heard.
  11. I’ve bunkered in for the possibility of at least another year.
  12. Probably a good take on today but does seem a big coincidence.
  13. You might want to reassess the harmless part, just a couple of quotes from Munson tonight ‘Flay him then throw him in a giant salt mill’ Today at 9:17 PM Hopefully masters disappears in a suitcase Today at 9:08 PM
  14. I’ve got nothing on Roy Munson mate, he’s on a different level.
  15. Why did Yasir fly in to deliver documents from the Saudi Royal Court to the PL ?
  16. Got to love the Roy Munson character on that board. Would fit in superbly on this thread, come on over Roy if your reading.
  17. It’s certainly going to be interesting, I mean what would a years losses on 340 million look like ? I suppose he’d argue he’s lost out on investment opportunities etc.
  18. Nice to log on and see this, good find Wandy. I was reading a thread the other day that was speculating that Ashley might now not even accept an out of court settlement. The thought process was that if he is so confident as claimed, he would also be entitled to big compensation as well on top of 340 million. It would be a huge gamble on his part, but we all know Mike likes a gamble.
