Bournemouth vs. Newcastle United: 21/09/25 @ 14:00 (Sky Sports)

Massive game this would be 7 points behind them with defeat and would become a poor start to the season for me. Would take a draw now but we really need to build some momentum. -
Aye was fucking carnage once the pubs closed at 11pm and word spread the q was fucking massive.

Thiaw, Botman, Hall and Tino will help us break the press here. If Trippier does start wouldn’t be opposed to trying Hall down the left in this, or Joelinton. -
Aye great memories remember getting stopped by the plod in car on way home in early hours, flashed tickets and was on my way again in seconds.
-
Aye separated the real fans from the fair weather ones. Still remember them opening the gates in the early hours and being in a swaying scrum of pissed up lunatics outside the old ticket office.

Hopefully back in time for the AFCON in December.

He’s been consistently shite for us bar the odd goal. Lazy opportunistic signing that we never needed in my book.
-
Gordon has potential to be CL quality, he’s just not up to pace and being played out of position.
-
Shite simple as that. No pace, weak as piss and doesn’t have one trick as a wide player to go past his man. A couple of goals during the run in last season doesn’t make him a good player unfortunately. One trick pony who should be nowhere near starting in a CL game against Barcelona.

True think he came on against Dortmund at home. I’m actually looking forward to see how we perform against some lesser European teams in coming games. Will probably tell us a bit more about where we are in terms of nouse at this level.
-
Good night but for all our midfield gets lauded, these technical European teams can easily pass around us it seems. Apart from PSG at home last time we’ve struggled to retain possession and show any kind of composure in Europe.
-
Not his best night but take him over Barnes every time. Just needs to get up to speed and played in his correct position.
-
We’ve overpaid on some mid-range PL players and an older player that’s the problem. This summer was salvaged in terms of filling positions, but it looked scattergun and jury is out on whether the bar has been raised in first 11.
-
No ego here and happy to have a good debate with @SteV. Just different opinions and time will tell. Hope I’m wrong about Ramsey and he’s correct, as that’s the better outcome for the club, which is what we all want.
-
You can’t say Ramsey was fine last season and Willock was not great, but OK, when Willock missed 5 and Ramsey missed 10. It would be reasonable to say Ramsey’s record was better last season than the year before, but I don’t think that’s saying much in the grand scheme.
-
Nah it would be strike 3 but please ban him coz I’m a flake.
-
Folk can’t consider Willock injury prone and have rose tinted glasses here. The facts speak for themselves. Nee chance he’s fit enough for that.
-
He’s made of glass man, if Longstaff can put you out for a month ffs. This cunt will make Willock look like Gattuso by the end of the season.
-
I’d be surprised if he was fit enough to start a lot of those games he was a substitute. If he was though it begs the question how we think he’s worth 40 million.
-
Or he’s only started 27 PL games in last 2 seasons.
-
One serious injury for Joelinton, Bruno, or Tonali and the Ramsey transfer risks out season being fucked yes. We should have spent the 40 million on someone who at the very least has a record of being available for selection.
