The game is being played in the Leeds half as expected, but we don’t know how to get through them. We’ve been really bad in the final third

Wilson is just being outmuscled by the two big centre backs so far. Isak is getting time on the ball and you can see they don’t know how to defend against his skill and pace. I really wish we started with Wilson on the bench

Our shape just doesn’t look right without Longstaff in the side. Willock also being given a free role leaves us incredibly short at the back

Tbf Sam’s got them up for this and they’ve been very aggressive so far - closing down the space and clattering into us

Referee has got two challenges involving Almiron completely wrong

Can’t really judge him without a full preseason under this coaching team. He’s gone to a brand new environment with a team that plays a completely different style. We obviously overpaid for him, but this always happens with transfers from one Premier League to another

Everton winning this game would completely shake up the bottom five. This is one of those occasions where everyone thinks it’s a guaranteed loss for them and they’re 3-0 up!

The thing with Almiron is the lack of right foot lets him down constantly. He always looks to cut back or slows the attack down as he doesn’t want to get his head down, make space and cross it. I prefer Murphy on the right as he can do both as today demonstrated. I know he’s not the answer and I think both are easily replaced

Agreed. But I just don’t think we’d upset the squad balance right now by signing 6 top quality players that the squad needs to step up again next year

I just don’t think we’re ‘ready’ to be in the champions league just ye as we need a far better squad. But I’m enjoying how well we’ve played and would love to experience it

Leeds is a big game purely because it looks like we can move 6 points ahead of Liverpool and 5 from Man Utd before they play their games. That puts the pressure back on them

He really needs Longstaff making those runs on his side
