  1. Depends on which players they are. I’d rather have Davies, Rice and Diaby (can’t think or any other wide player of that value) for £80m

    Alexander Isak

It’s also got the Bruno ball roll technique to start it off too - great goal that should be spoken about a lot more
  3. I can’t understand how we don’t have double figures by now. There’s been so many good chances that we haven’t put it
  4. That was such a foul there by Kane. It’s crazy how different games are refereed depending on the teams playing, the players reputation and the score line. They’ve been kicking us since the 25th minute and he’s not given out yellows because he feels sorry for them
  5. It’s why we need someone with real pace. Although his ability on the ball is next level
  6. Struggling at the moment just from sloppiness
  7. I think we need some subs to freshen this up a bit
  8. I’m slightly annoyed (I know right!) that we started showboating rather than being more ruthless
  9. The golf in class this season between the two teams is demonstrated in this opening 20 minutes. How this Spurs team are only 3 points behind us is laughable
  10. I always believed someone was due a big beating at St James’
  11. Where to play Maddison would be a very nice dilemma to have
  12. If they don’t suffer some sort of nervousness on the big stage, it’s going to be a great for them
  13. I don’t know who will pay the amount of money that would make him a worthwhile sale. You’d have to be looking at above £30m and I don’t see anyone paying that for him
  14. Forgot about those sales, but I very much it gets anywhere near that figure
  15. Who can we actually sell realistically that gets us any money - there’s nobody other than maybe Lascelles or Lewis who would get us a few million each
  16. I think that’s the main thing that’s changed about us as a side. We react well and won’t just accept a shite performance becoming the new standard. Spurs still have quality in their side, but if we don’t make any silly defensive mistakes that give them confidence, we’ll be way too much for them to handle
  17. I’m hoping it’s done before Chelsea away because even though they’re shite this season, when do we ever beat them away from home….. Going there needing to win would not be something I wanna put myself through! If we perform how we have been all season then, it will be done by then surely
  18. If there ever was a time to make changes to the back four then it would be now. But Eddie values consistency so I think he sticks with Burn for the weekend
  19. That’s the direction I think we’ll go. A Joao Pedro type player gives you the cover for Wilson and Isak and plays out wide - I don’t see why we won’t try again for him if Watford stay in the Championship. Whilst it would be great to go for a name like Diaby, I don’t think we’ll be able to spend money on a top quality wide player as well as a striker when we need a lot of other positions filled.
  20. Villa have got a great chance of getting right amongst the battle. I mean if they can beat Brentford before we play Spurs then they heap even more pressure on both of us
  21. Those percentages will drastically change if Spurs come away from St James’ with 3 points
  22. Even with our inability to cope with their power, pace and transition speed, it’s the first game of the season where we’ve been truly and comprehensively outclassed. This really reminds me of the second half at Spurs away last season. There we were completely overrun and showed no tactical awareness to change the outcome of the game. That’s the thing that bugs me the most, we continue to play the same way and leave the same open spaces without really making appropriate changes based on the opposition
