Replace Ryan Fraser with Harvey Barnes and Jeff Hendrick with James Maddison -

I don’t see Leicester selling for less than £40m. But if they’re relegated, the need to balance the books becomes more important and this means they’ll have to negotiate. I don’t see them going down though so he may end up staying another year and leaving on a free -

And that’s the reason why I don’t actually think we are after him as first choice. He’s probably on a long list of players we like and that list differs depending on where we finish this season -

I doubt we go for Tielemans because he’s not athletic enough for us. The reason why we are linked with McTominay is because he will run all day for his side. There’s a difference in quality on the ball between the two for sure, but I think our style of play requires energy and pace and Tielemans doesn’t offer that -
I think we win this one and have more of a struggle on the weekend. The fatigue will more likely set in at Brentford
-
Last chance to get money in the bank though surely

Kane will 100% leave this summer regardless of a top 4 finish. He can’t stay in this poor team for his whole career, he deserves to fight for trophies and must be so gutted the Man City move never worked out
-
I’m going to be so upset if Spurs finish above us, they are just so shite and I can’t believe they have this many points
-
That’s the same view I have. I don’t understand the dislike we seem to have for McTominay as I think he’s actually a solid Premier League player, but I don’t think he’s better than what we have. Longstaff is the obvious one that is replaced in the midfield 3, but only with a top quality addition of Bruno levels

Really good yesterday and well worth his start even after the drop off at Forest. Let’s hope he continues this improvement at West Ham. He has previously torn them apart at their ground so I’m looking for more of the same
-
Early goal in this half and we destroy them
-
Looking at those fixtures, Leicester and Forest could really struggle. Leicester have some winnable home games, but imagine them not winning one of the next two home games in a row, that would bring huge pressure. I guess that’s why Rogers has gone because they need a result. Forest don’t win away so only really have two winnable home games left

Palace ruining my 258/1 accumulator in the 94th minute - sickening
-
Been a good day for us so far then
-
I really want him to shine with us, but he needs to get himself fully fit for that to happen. A good pre-season will help in that regard. I like that he acknowledged that he’s a different player under Howe and realises that he has to defend. I think that structure has harmed his game although he’s clearly trying to improve tactically

We’ve got the ‘hardest’ games left of all 3 from a quick fixture check. But this next week is absolutely massive for all the teams involved. I’d say we make top 4 if we come out ahead come the end of next weekend
-
This something that’s we’ve done already right? And it’s a yearly total? Apologies for all the questions, just trying to understand this process a lot better than the headline £105m over 3 years. My naive view is that when I see all these reports filed, pretty much every club in the division is easily reporting this type of loss over the period allowed
-
What’s allowed under this approach?
-
If he’s not going to play, then there’s no point in keeping him here
-
You’d think West Ham will be able to get enough points at home to survive, but it’s going to be tight
-
It’s a huge week for us and I’m hoping we can start it off with a win. I’d say this is probably the defining week for us and top 4 considering the games that Liverpool have to play over the same period (Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal) as well as Spurs (away at Everton and then Brighton at home)
-
I’d prefer Leicester going down so we can go after Maddison and Barnes
-
We have 12 games left so 36 points to play for. 6 wins and 2 draws from the final 12 gets 20 points and is achievable. Who knows if that will be enough to get 4th

l think we’d only be tempted to only look abroad when the release clauses are available and not too large. For example, I’d go for Urgarte from Sporting who reportedly has a clause of around €50m. That would be good value to me as I think he goes for a lot more than that if he signs a new deal
