Such a shame If you strip away the bullshit inevitably that Rafa was leaving, that final four months of the season had me so optimistic about what was to come. I mean imagine Rafa in charge right now with some sound investment. The league is wide open and we could have had a great chance of going for a European spot under Rafa’s stewardship.

His inability to run cost us the goal for 2-1. A midfielder in a two needs to be able to run back as much as he does going forward. Watching him run is like watching someone try and move in slow motion. It makes no sense that he hasn’t been replaced. I guess he’s ones of Bruce’s good characters so an automatic starter

Spot on. Was raging the same to the missus yesterday and she then understood how bad the guy is from watching his performance in the first half. He has no legs (you need an engine in this league) and ability to pass forward has appeared to have gone from his game. It’s like playing with 10 men from the start

Yea I’m a bit baffled by this. That’s how I see it too. You can't "sue" until the bid is first rejected. You can't "appeal" until there is something to appeal against. That is why everyone (well, some of us) are so positive now, even a little bit more positive than we always have been. If you don't get accepted when it clearly (Chelsea/Man City-wise) should be, then a clear rejection is the next best thing. That Club Statement by Ashley leaves absolutely NO room for doubt, none whatsoever. We're not gonna spend £35m on one player, and he's hardly likely to change his mind about coming here just because we might sign Ryan Fraser.
