  1. Nothing to do with Anderson starting. It's the defence not watching runners or fucking talking. Let's not scapegoat Anderson ffs!
  2. This kinda comment is comical...how do you get that exactly? He's just at the beginning of his career. Did you think the same when Kane was being loaned out to various teams in the championship?
  3. I love Burn, but he's a nightmare today. We looked shattered today. Gordon was the highlight.
  4. Was there also. Frank Pingel my word.
  5. Flying over to London 23rd, see you all in Trafalgar Square on the Saturday. Can't fucking wait!
  6. Agree! love Miggy too, just wish once in one hundred he would hit the byline and not cut back. I'm sure you can kick a ball with your wrong foot if you use it everyday.

    Sorry I was agreeing...
  8. Everything he did, he did with intent and decisiveness. The confidence to take one touch and then play a pass at speed and move. He will link up with Bruno great. He instantly started to play off Big Joe a few times. It looked like he'd been here longer than Maxi the way he integrated. Excited to see more...Hopefully he starts next game. I'd go Gordon, Wilson, Isak - left to right. Almiron's right foot issue is boiling my blood now.

Why would that matter? lol some folk on here ffs... According to a few Maxi's problems are everyones fault but his own...Burn not attacking enough, Bruno not playing, Wood when he played. How any one can point blame at Burn is madness, best defence in Europe and he's been huge! Yesterday he was poor, but still fine. We picked up when Gorden came on and the link up with midfield became quicker again. One touch etc. Not sure Maxi knows what that is tbh. And thats not Burns fault.
  10. Ran the show. Like I said in the Match Thread, never rated him that highly but he'd be the perfect fit for us. He's a much better footballer than I thought, his reading of the game and breaking down play was impressive today.
  11. He also needs to come and show to the ball, cover back and not do a half arsed run then let players shoot on sight. It's a little unnatural and forced to do anything other than get the ball and dribble. If the game is stretched he's great, but he does not fit this team and the way we play, unfortuately.
  12. Really? he's done very little tbh. And mainly a yard off the play.
  13. Rice is next level and I don't normally rate him. Id take him in the Summer over Madison. exactly what we need.
  14. Also my first game in 1986. 4-0 I think. Beardsley and Goddard. happy memories with my mam in the Milburn paddock! HWTL
  15. Imagine what he can do when he's good enough for the premier league! Great game! chuffed for him. Hope he bags a couple more in the final! We're due a win down there.
  16. Player! Big fucker too.
  17. Especially one, two sizes to small! I'm with you!
  18. not to mention a player who can shoot from distance, if defences do decide to sit off, worried about our pace behind... just go and get him!
  19. Few to many on here only think in starting 11's, squad game lads! Rotation, especially if we hit Europe. Not to mention our lovely injury record...
  20. Unlikely and wont get my hopes but. But him and AG would be a 10/10 Window. Fingers Crossed. Two players used to the league, both flexible across the front 6. A real statement if so.
