Guess I watched a different game to you. No mastermind, but we controlled that game and Howe did a greta job tonight. Positivity!

Also.....so nice to see your team, especially at home under the floodlights, press the hell out of a team, to a man. We could barely run for a bag of chips last year. Kudos to the coaches.

Massive performance and 3 points. Nice to see the players growing with confidence. And top marks for Howe, for standing strong on Bruno. He now has time to train and from what we saw there, he's gonna add even more energy. Thought whole team were great. Maxi & Wilock special mention. HWTL's! Buzzing here!

Deary me. Chris Wood. The epitome of a 80's Lump of a Footballer. Cunningham, Whitehurst etc etc. He's had a stinker. I'd be tempted to put Big Jo back upfront now we have Bruno. These are there for the taking!

Just seen Dirk Kurt in Tesco, I looked at him, he looked at me. Both surprised. Ando was right.

I'd take Burn and Nketiah tbh. I think some folk are getting carried away. Watching Nketiah he's an instinctive striker, very similar to Wilson and you don't score the goals he has without being a natural finisher. I'd love Origi but Nketiah is a huge upgrade and will give up much needed runs into the channels too. He also looks decent at dropping deep and starting moves from midfield or on the left flank - could be nice with Maxi!

Reminds me of many of the strikers playing in the 80's. Not dynamic, plays on his heels, and limited all round. But I'm willing to give him time and hopefully we can get a few more balls into him behind a defence and prove me wrong.

I thought Willock was poor first halve, not terrible, just in second gear. Thought Lascelles was fine, as I did last week also, bar a few daft balls.

I reckon he lacks self believe and confidence in himself tbh. Maybe to do with his looks and the shit he gets on that front. As someone said above he clearly cares but he's a complex character no doubt. Just glad Howe has him fired up and playing with respect for the shirt, he's covering the ground and putting 100% in.

I must watch different games. I thought Lascelles was doing well til he was injured. Though Dummet and Trippier were a little loose first half. Schar was my MOTM followed by Shelvey. Manquillo did a sterling jump and I thought Willock was pretty shit first half but grew into the game and started to get more space second halve. All the players were a 8 or above in my eyes, if not only for their efforts. Wood was the worst of the bunch.

Love the guy. Decent, respectful, hard working and a gentleman. Dropped into a circus and he's working it out. Needs some time and players. I hope it works out for him.

Agree with this. Thought second half he was far better and increased his effort. He has ability no doubt, but probably need confidence and a true position. Hats off though he did well, as did all the midfield.

Agree, thought Schar was amazing - Even thought Lascelles did well until injured.

Aside from the Goal, one of his best performances, covered every inch of the pitch and clearly fought hard to hold the lead. Great performance and I'm not his biggest fan. You could put 4-5 up there with him - I thought Schar was fantastic. We have a lot of limited players but most of them leave everything on the pitch every week.

Imagine a team with Legs who play with intensity and put crosses in from behind their fullbacks. We play is such a sporadic, pedestrian manner. Like over 60's football with Maxi as the only athlete. Wood has been invisible also for the second week. Spunked 25million up the wall on traffic cone.

I'd go for: Solid Back 4, out and out Wingers who cross and let Max do what the fuck he wants. 4.4.2. Dubs Fed Lascelles Trippier Dummet Shelvey Jo Murphy Ritchie Max Wood Edit - I'm not a fan of at least 4 of those players btw! We need a system.
