Oh we are down alright, can't score (hell we are lucky to get one shot on target) and can't keep clean sheets. I think the takeover will be shelved and Ashley will become even more disinterested, that will result in us going down to League One. So for past 11 years NUFC fans have been protesting that Ashley is asset stripping, using the club as a billboard, and has no intentions of competing. For 11 years, the MSM have told us to shut up and stop having lofty expectations. Now the MSM are saying we have become boring, just an advert for Sports Direct and the club is basically a shell. If we do get a takeover the fans should become hostile to MSM when they all start licking our hoop!

there is no ruthlessness (is that a word) in our team. Each time a team breaks on us, instead of just taking out the man say 35 yards from goal, we just jockey and backtrack all the way into our box and they then invariably score. Just obstruct, tackle at 35 yards out, take the yellow and regroup.

Of course not but by the same token, he is using his own money so he doesn't have to answer to any fan or questions or comments or criticism. This, she’s coming across very poorly and attention seeking, the only lass i want to see sinking cans on the telly is Mandy when this is done. So when this whole takeover started in Feb 20, she and her (boyfriend?) did these post, trying to enlighten the NUFC fans about the legal side of the takeover and challenges. They then appeared on Wraith show. After that I lost interest for a while and then when I looked back on twitter, her boyfriend was no longer around, she was having arguments with wraith and is now having arguments with NCSL. So its up to her what she does but like all things twitter, its a mess and I don't really care.

Spot on. Some of our fans love bashing our club. Sorry going to have to reply with another Analogy. NUFC is like a listed building that could be magnificent but has been derelict for a number of years. The building is shitty in its current state but could be magnificent again if only someone would buy it and do it up! So I stand by my assertion. NUFC in its current state is a shitty club!

More evidence for De Marco and co to show our takeover was subjected to far stricter scrutiny than any previous. I would have thought the government would have pushed for them to accept the bid. Premier league went to them.... I think they would, but the point is why did they feel they had to go to them. It’s meant to be a confidential process and if scrutiny of our takeover has been shown to be different to others, it all plays into the narrative that we have been treat differently. I expect to tell them that they are going to reject the bid and wanted to explain why (Piracy) or get more info on the buyers. Also we probably have been treated differently but I can't think of any club being bought while at the same time running an illegal sports stations that steals games. I'm still confused by this. And you REALLY don’t think in that instance that the PL might have something to say, and invoke the yearly O&D Test again to throw the club out of the league? So Isn’t that why they are wanting to test the people who have the power to do that before the takeover happens, I.e MBS. So should the Queen have to take various tests everytime the Crown estates want to buy into something? Insane. If the premier league came out and said - we have rejected the takeover bid due to alleged piracy of IP rights etc then fine. Most fans would accept it without a blink of an eye. This not making a decision is just a delay tactic because they know if they actually gave a reason for rejecting it, it could be challenged. I wont be writing in this thread again until we hear definitive news from the PL, the club or consortium as we are just going round in circles. Whereas NUFC is just going down (to the championship).
