  1. A draw wouldn't be a bad result, but, a win could well mean that a win against Chelsea would seal our champions league position. The two games up here, first we should have won comfortably and were undone by dreadful defending from a free kick, second we were an offside decision from winning with a last gap winner. Lost two, but, could and probably should have been won two. Pedro missing is a bonus as he is definitely their key player currently. As mentioned in an earlier post, we need to start strong and watch their speed on the break. It will be a tough game, but, if we turn up as we did against Arsenal and Liverpool in the cup, I've got no doubt we can come away with a massive victory. The obvious worry, is for some reason (like Bournemouth), we seem to never give our best performances when playing Brighton. Only time was two years ago in similar circumstances with champions league qualification, so I hope the importance ensures our players are on it again.
  2. Need to start strong (certainly not like Villa) and try and control the game. Pedro missing is certainly a plus, as he is a very decent player, and is the player who always seems to be the key when Brighton are playing well. They're not in the greatest form, but, they're a decent team and we need to be on it from the off. We have struggled against the teams in the upper mid table positions this season, and it's vital we don't allow another one to put our champions league advantage at risk.

No chance they would have let him go without it being a watertight deal being in place
  4. 10x more the catchment size The clubs are only 13 miles apart. They love a good lie over there

    Joelinton

Hopefully it's a case of checking if they can continue to manage the injury. Seems like this has been the case so far, but, sensible to get a specialist opinion to be 100%
  6. I thought he looked sharp today when he came on.

    Will Osula

It was certainly on target and looked to be going in unless the keeper would have saved it. We were having the same discussions about lack of game time for Hall last year. Next year will, I would imagine be the one where he will push on and utilised more. If not then he will probably be off loaded next year at no significant loss and maybe even a profit. His decision making was actually very good today.
  8. Chelsea were quite fortunate to beat an Everton team with nothing to play for today. Chelsea have been in pretty poorish form since January
  9. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/ipswich-leicester-southampton.1653767/post-42666417 Reality finally starting to hit home I see
  10. Aye he played well today
  11. I watched the highlights again just before, and for Bruno's error for Liverpool's goal, it looks to me he has to change his direction, due to the referee blocking his way. Just really noticed it now and I don't know what other people think of when looking back again.

Question is did we intentionally sign him for the purpose of selling him on for a fee in January for PSR reasons, or (more likely) was it due to a offer by Juventus being too good to turn down and that he hadn't really impressed in his time here. Brilliant deal for us mind, for a signing that cost nothing in terms of transfer fee.
  13. Birmingham is fine as a city, the ground even currently is fine also. However, you then have the cunts which are the Villa fan base to contend with. For some unknown reason (no history behind it), they seem to have this direct rivalry aimed towards us (if you look on their main forum, our thread is regularly updated and near the top of the Other Football section), and take massive satisfaction when things are not going well on our side. They are just outside of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United for clubs with the biggest cunts as supporters, and probably level with Everton (another club with a strange obsession with us).
  14. One good thing is that Ipswich have no option but to try and play for a win, otherwise they will be relegated. Really, either way, we have no excuses though, we are playing a team on only 21 points and with half their first choice players missing. I'm certain that our players will be very motivated (imo) after the worst performance (by a long way) this season last weekend
  15. Just hope if Howe is doing the presser, the journalists don't each aim the entire conference with questions on his illness. Obviously the first one or two will be and that's totally understandable, but his thoughts on the Villa game, the Ipswich game and champions league qualification, is what the conference should mainly be about. A few weeks ago, every question was about his feelings on the cup parade and such, and journalists were just repeating the same type of questions over and over again. I'm quite sure Howe will want to concentrate on the team also and not be mollycoddled by the wet wipes we have as journalists
  16. 46 pages now and Musk is being mentioned now
  17. You're right of course, I just don't think anyone was expecting how much we were outplayed against Villa. A draw or City win would leave Villa either 4 or 5 points behind if we beat Ipswich. This is a massive gap with only then 4 to play and a far superior goal difference. Chelsea at home is also an absolute must win, as if we do, then they will have to make up 5 points from Saturday until the end of the season. We have the same goal difference currently, but that Chelsea match will count as double goals in reality either way. We are still in a very good position to qualify, other teams around us will drop points and we have just got to make sure that we don't let this massive opportunity slip away. Qualification into the champions league, will probably result in a big difference to our incoming summer transfers
  18. Bringing in four players made a big difference. We are easing Gordon back you would think after his injury, but it is concerning that there is no confidence in bringing other players in the squad to make fresh changes after 3 games in 6 days. We should certainly be looking to move on Longstaff, Willock, Target, Krafth and Wilson this Summer. Miley and Osula are young, but it's noticeable that Miley is not getting much game time even coming on as a substitute. Osula we will see next season I presume as the same questions were being asked about Hall last season.
  19. I've always been of the opinion that we need a creative midfielder. Someone who can dictate the game in the middle of the park. Our midfield currently either dominates the opposition midfield or at times are totally dominated. Strange one to fathom as they have dominated the midfield of the two top teams, so you can't say it's due to a step up in quality. Long answer just to say I agree.
  20. Got to make this one count. With City playing Villa, 3 points would mean we are the same points gap as before today's game with either City or Villa depending on who wins. A draw would mean a 3 point gap to City and 4 point gap to Villa, with only 4 games to play. If one team is to win, then I would prefer City. My reason is that Villa's PSR is starting to bite them according to reports, stating that they may have to sell players this summer. Oh and there fans are cunts also.

    Fabian Schär

I thought Trippier was shocking today. Poor defensively, poor moving forward and his set pieces were terrible also
  22. I often go on other forums (especially at the time we play their team) and obviously there are knob heads on all forums. However, the RTG forum has the highest amount of absolute twats by a long, long way
  23. Aye there has been a mass (on a different level than ever before) outcry of faux outrage boiling over in their fewm. I wonder if racist mod Keith will still bang the drum on the 'awful football' we play.
  24. I think it's more aimed at the Saudi population and potential shirt sales over there.
  25. Just seen this, I know they're totally broken, I know their bitterness is on a different level currently, but that is the biggest idiotic quote I think I've ever seen. Even the other mackems have used the laughing emoji when replying
