No I’m not getting my knickers in a twist at all, everything single thing points to us being relegated despite and improved display going forward today.
So it’s 100% certain we’re relegated then?
May as well not play anymore games. Supertoon has already confirmed our fate.
Do you not think we could achieve 7 points more than Brentford before the end of the season? They were a mess today and have been for weeks. What can they do to get out of it?
Norwich, Brentford and one other will go. I’d expect that place to be between us, Southampton, Burnley, Leeds and Watford.
I’d be very surprised if it’s us.

Who’s getting their knickers in a twist? We are in an absolutely awful position and will probably be worse after Arsenal next. Yes we have a better manager but that defence cannot be fixed till we bring in new players and we are likely to be in an even worse position by then.
You’ve just said “10”.
So you’re not getting your knickers in a twist but it’s 100% certain we’re relegated with 26 matches still to be played.
Calm down, have a glass of water or something.

Think I'm the only one feeling more positive after today
Wasn't a great result but there was a massive difference in terms of performance. The more Eddie works with them the better we'll get. Darlow cost us today.
This, this and this.

It’s hardly reactionist ? we haven’t won in 12, sat bottom of the league and cut adrift by 7 points.
No team has ever stayed up after not winning the first 12 games.
We’ve got a new (competent) manager who is clearly going to set us up to win matches. The previous 11 games are fairly irrelevant now when considering form.
The way I see it the season started today but we’ve given teams like Brentford, Southampton, Burnley, Leeds etc. a 3-8 point head start over 26 games.
Do I expect us to overturn that? Absolutely.
Getting knickers in a twist just because Norwich and Villa won is very reactionary. The season isn’t defined by any one match.

Hope not. He needs to stay for as long as possible.

Some right reactionists in here
Norwich with a bounce, but they’ll continue to struggle for the rest of the season.
We’ll finish above this Brentford team.
Leeds, Burnley & Southampton will all be in the mix too.

Good point, would’ve been three if Darlow wasn’t involved.
Expect to see us to continue picking up. As long as we’re in touch when we go into January, we’ll be absolutely fine.
-
Thankfully it’ll probably be the last game he plays.
Hopefully Dubravka can stay injury free for the rest of the season. Defence is always vastly improved just with his presence and leadership.

Darlow has been an absolute disaster here. Would honestly take him off at half time.
He’s a disaster every time he plays. Dreadful keeper.

Possession, shots, shots on target… what is this madness?

Wonder if we’ll see Ritchie and Fraser on the wings with ASM behind Wilson…

It’s 2021 guys, calm down. He’ll be on video to the players pre-match, half time and full time and will no doubt be wired up to JT to play out any instructions.
It shouldn’t have any effect whatsoever. Maybe on the atmosphere, but certainly not on the result.

Wonder if this news is any indication of progress in this department. Different roles so perhaps not, but hope so.
Departed sooner than planned after they realised what a gobshite he is.

Not asking you to check but it'll also be at least 17 years since we even reached a semi. That must be somewhere up there too.
Absolutely pathetic when you consider clubs that have done so in recent times:
Leicester, Brighton, Wolves, Watford & Southampton reaching the FA Cup Semis (or beyond, even winning it) in the last four years.
Brentford, Leicester, Aston Villa, Burton, Bristol City reaching the League Cup semis in the last four years.

Not true has journalist contacts in Middle East such as Frank Kane from Arab news, pretty sure he has contacts through sports medicine world aswell.
Decent bloke in my opinion but each to their own.
What a massive surprise, Keith comes bundling in to protect his mate
His contacts in the Middle East are limited to those he could put into his eyes.
Almost like people are forgetting his ridiculously wide of the mark ITKery around the Bin Zayed fakeover.

Charnley is the cause of the leaks.
Quicker he is peddled, the better. Naive to keep him around any longer.

What a day. I find myself agreeing with Simon Jordan and an MP. Feel like I should have a bath or something.

Matz Sels on the Belgium bench tonight
Wonder if he’s learnt how to catch a ball.

Thinking we are going to go down is very different to saying it’s a 100% certainty.
We’re five points from safety ffs
That’s two wins. Even if Leeds beat Spurs tomorrow, it’s only three wins from safety.
We haven’t won all season, but as I said, we now have a manager capable of achieving wins. Look at the season of 26 games under Howe with a five point deficit to make up. It’s perfectly acceptable to expect us to be able to do that.
All of our next four games are winnable. Two wins from those four and the picture suddenly looks much rosier.
