    Yes.

it’s just that we naturally see ours on our timelines on social media etc.

Arsenal Fans TV was blasted by Arsenal fans long before they became popular outside of the Arsenal fan base.

Arsenal Fans TV don’t take money from fellow fans to purely benefit themselves though, do they?

  2. Think he’ll do enough to keep them up, comfortably so. But can’t see them pushing on with him.

That said, a steady job will probably be good enough for him to replace Klopp and it’ll be utterly nauseating between now and then. I can already imagine the build up to the next Liverpool-Villa game. LIVE ON SKY. :anguish:

If I was picking between him and Lampard for us, I would’ve picked Lampard because he’s already ‘shooted’ his shot at the Chelsea job.

Even if he does well at Villa, if he goes there, he doesn't really have any right to be in the running for the Liverpool job considering the stature that Klopp had before going and the level of the standards that have now been set.

Same was with Lampard at Chelsea. His only managerial experience was failing to get Derby promoted.

Same with OGS at Man Utd.

Teams often appoint managers that are going to be popular, rather than actually suitable for the role.

Have no doubt Gerrard will end up at Liverpool after Klopp, even if he just does an average job at Villa.

  4. Ultimately they’re just keeping him warm for the Liverpool job if he does any good.

It can’t be anything other than a short term appointment. He’ll either fail and get the boot or be off to Liverpool in a year or two.

Will be interesting to see how he does. Sacking Smith for Gerrard is a bit, meh. A poor run of form, but have they improved their manager?

I'm assuming people saw this article yesterday. PIF apparently "disappointed" with the purchase so far.   https://www.football365.com/news/pif-disappointed-unattractive-newcastle-united-they-want-another-team

This is the kind of stuff we will have to put up with forever now. As soon as there is a setback of any kind, it will be that the club isn't meeting the Saudis' expectations and that they might be looking to sell.

Mind you, I'm still not convinced that they wouldn't consider selling up if we go down. Which is why it's crazy to think that relegation "won't matter".

That’s the same reports from the same journalist that the mackems were getting all excited by on RTG last week.

Reality is, he doesn’t appear to get much right (particularly about this takeover), if you look at his Twitter feed.

Again, we can't think like this. Payments are going to be spread across the contract. £50 million isn't £50 million.

Plus any fees for shifting the deadwood.

We should easily be able to bring in 3-4 young players in the £20m bracket that would ultimately strengthen us to get through this season.

CM x2, CB, LB would suffice.

Love that he’s clearly ripping into Bruce’s ‘training’ when he says “it’s not a criticism, just a different type of training”.

    On mobile or pc?

On a PC there is a samll sign next to the word 'quote', and if you hover your cursor over it, the menu 'Multiquote' will appear.

In other words, to quote more than one post, click on the symbol

Selecting the text and using the quote bubble that pops up seems to work, cheers :)

Isn't on "holiday." Visiting family in Norway.

Very petty thing this to try and tackle him with. Absolutely no problems with it.

    Clueless.
