Yep. We're only good if we're up against a team that underestimates us. This is what happens when you assemble a team of athletes whose identity is intensity but have no idea what to do if the opposition are also physically imposing
-
Is the problem with him the fact that he's too clever for our team and he's on a completely different wavelength to his teammates
-
No amount of speed will compensate for not having a footballing brain
-
They are a dross footballing team, but they're effective at what they do, especially if their opponents are as powderpuff as we are Poor players with a game plan that want to work hard will always beat average players who don't know what they're supposed to be doing and can't be bothered.

I've been consistent throughout by saying I hope we never play them again and was happy to see them rot in the lower league for all eternity. The joys of a derby win don't make up for the despair of a defeat, I'd rather laugh at these cunts from a distance. If you're happy with the derbies and accept that the risk of losing them is just part of the thrill then fair enough, it's just not for me

I hope the 'it'll be class to have the derbies back' crowd are happy now

You just fucking knew it

Absolute dross

Happy enough with that, as we all know, they're a shit footballing side but Brobbey seems to be a bit of a handful for Botman, we're far from home and hosed

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS That's what happens when the mackems attempt anything other that hatchetball
-
Very fitting that this thread has been bumped on derby day. Amongst all the animosity between us and the mackems we can at least unite in our hatred for this fat pig

River Plate ought to be fucking embarrassed at that. One of the most iconic and most famous clubs in the Americas reduced to being a holding pen/dumping ground for their English overlords. What benefit are River Plate even going to get from that deal? It's not like have River Plate ever struggled to sell young players to Europe, so an arrangement where Chelsea get them at a cut price seems very bizzare. Always preferred Boca Juniors anyway

Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays
Moose replied to wor jackie's topic in Football
So does that mean that the Wor Flags Derby Display thread on RTG with several thousand posts where they've been making themselves angry and upset about how WF will hypothetically target them was all for nothing?!?! -
Hmmmmmmmm, I'm really not sure about that line up. Although to be fair, whenever I say that we usually end up having a good game so I'll hang fire until full time

Great reference

That sounds fun but labour intensive, I'll bookmark this for Monday and do it during work hours, at least I'll look busy to the untrained eye!

I hate it when you get a promoted team who come up, add absolutely nothing to the league and swiftly fuck back off without so much as a whimper. Burnley are that team this season, a complete waste of space.

Nice to see that Welbeck is capable of scoring against teams other than us
-
I'm not necessarily saying that Delap would be a good or bad signing, but what I will say is that we really need to be a lot more creative than just paying the going rate for bog standard PL players, especially cartel cast offs. Of course there's every possibility that the rumour is bollocks, if not then it's a bit alarming

There's that great scene on the Netflix documentary after Burton relegated them where they're singing along to it in tears, I thought it was just a one off karaoke, but no, apparently they've claimed it as their own, I think they have a fanzine or podcast called Wise Men Say. It's a small comfort knowing that Elvis died completely unaware of the existence of that hovel

Now that we're firmly in The Derby Build Up™️ period I'd like to take the opportunity to express how much I detest those mutants for hijacking and ruining my enjoyment of I Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis. I really want to sing along to it but I don't want to grow a sixth finger or become sexually attracted to seagulls
