Spending 70m on a striker to replace the best striker we've had since Shearer and he doesn't get on the pitch over 2 legs in a CL knockout tie against Barça and is barely getting any minutes in the league as he's now found himself behind a LW and a raw, unpolished chaos merchant in the pecking order I really want it to work out for him here but there comes a point where you just have to accept that it's likely not going to happen

We stood toe to toe with them for 3/4 halves of football, in those 3 halves we were our own worst enemy by gifting them needless penalties and putting chances on a platter for them. I don't know what the plan was for the 2nd half, Barça just went up to a level we couldn't match and were ruthless.
