  1. What an absolute pig sty of a club, I'd hate to be a Watford fan.
  2. I can't add much to the Trippier, Burn and Bruno which hasn't been mentioned already. Honourable mentions: Isak - Yeah, I know, but he was instrumental in building us to where we are now Tonali - A rolls royce of a player, an absolute joy to watch Willock (the hipsters choice) - Without him, we would've went down under Captain Steak Bakes
  3. Wasn't Muscat said to be Ange's apprentice? I'm sure they worked together in Australia and/or Japan and they share the same philosophy.

Bruce at Rangers would be comedy gold, a manager and fanbase still living in the 90's. It'll never happen though, as greedy as he is, I doubt he'd take that job for all of King Midas' gold, the Ibrox crowd turns into a baying horde of Uruk Hai when they drop points, he's far too thin skinned to handle Glasgow football. He was crying to the media about how harsh we were, I'd love to see how he'd handle all the abuse Russell Martin has just gone through.

To be clear, I wasn't having a go at you for having an account on there. I totally see the appeal of having an account and flying under the radar to get access to the depravity within the Parsnip section!
  6. I remember last year Aberdeen started like a house on fire and then had the mother of all implosions mid season. But last season Celtic were a good side for the most part and Rangers were competent enough to routinely best the rest of the dross in the league without much fuss. Both Old Firm teams look atrocious right now, Celtic are a club at war with itself whose manager has checked out and Rangers have been one the biggest laughing stocks in football for the past decade. I don't know if it's a season too early for Hearts as Bloom/McInnes have barely got their feet under the table but the Old Firm are certainly there for the taking
  7. A woke, smarmy, green party voting, vegan Southerner was never going to go down well with that particular fanbase. They need to go full brexit for their next appointment to compensate. What's Sean Dyche up to these days? Or maybe Steve Bruce has one more ride left in him?

There's a special place in hell for Toon fans who act pally with the mackems on RTG. I don't know what would possess someone to spend their free time cozying up to those weirdos and giving them complements. The notion of that is so baffling that I think the most logical explanation is that it's a mackem on the wind up. They have previous for the 'opposition fan in peyce'

We tried warning them. But no, we were deluded and unappreciative. We knew this melted boil was an incompetent snake oil salesman from day one, some fanbases need to learn the hard way. It took Blackpool longer than I thought. I wonder which desperate, shoddily run mess of a club will fall for his BS next

    Malick Thiaw

Can I just shock you? I like Thiaw, despite what I said earlier.
  11. More dropped points for Rangers, 11 points behind Hearts and 9 behind Celtic going into the international break. The Russell Martin nightmare must surely be over for Rangers now? Shirley!
  12. I will never stop being annoyed by the line up being listed in numerical order. Stop this nonsense at once Newcastle!

This will be his last job in the football league (surely to fuck!), I don't belive for one second that odious toad would waive a single dime in his contract.

Pastry induced heart attack or asphyxiation by gravy? Edit: Oh, sacked.
  15. He looks like he's towing a caravan and his touch has all the finesse of Peter Sutcliffe's claw hammer. Who knew that wasting away the one period of the year that pro footballers use to get their fitness up to scratch would have an adverse affect.

    Joe Willock

He plays like he has a single digital IQ and he doesn't trust his body anymore. The worst player in the squad right now, give him a painting of a Spitfire and send him on his way.
  17. After tonight's showings in Glasgow and Nottingham, I think it would be best for all parties if Ange trotted back up to Celtic and sees out the rest of his days sweeping aside dross and cruising to titles and Rodgers tries to recover what's left of his reputation at Forest
  18. Wow. Just wow. I think we'll be waiting a while to see a worse VAR decision than that. Either the VAR room was hijacked by the Orange Order or the VAR officials have been bunged up to fuck. I won't except being blind as an excuse, even fucking Louis Braille could see that wasn't a handball.

The "flops" of the PIF aren't even that bad. Chris Wood didn't exactly set the heather alight for us, but he served his purpose by getting a few crucial goals in the 21/22 season, we castrated Burnley (a relegation rival) by nuying him and we ended up getting a decent chunk of money back for him. Lloyd Kelly was pish, but he cost nothing and we got him to fuck 6 months later and scammed Juve in the process. Win. Matt Targett had a good loan spell with us, few would've argued against making his loan permanent for a relatively modest fee (15m?), unfortunately injuries have blighted him which isn't his fault. Shit happens. I've also seen some people call Osula a flop. I wouldn't go as far as that personnally as it seems he was brought in as a developmental player with a view to flipping as opposed to a first team regular. He still has a hell of a lot to work on but he's started to chip with goals and assists and ease the burden on the first teamers. Anyway, back to Thiaw. I would ride into battle for him.

Our hit rate in the transfer market has been ridiculously good. Even the ones that got away mostly look good (I'll apply the Man Utd/Amorim caveat to Sesko). I really like what I see from Thiaw so far. Above all, he seems like a really sound guy with his feet firmly on the ground. I can envisage this guy being here for a good 5-8 years and being a solid mainstay in the squad, a worthy heir the Schär's throne.

"Don't question fans critising Steve Bruce. Until your team has been managed by Steve Bruce, you have no idea what it feels like to have your team managed by Steve Bruce" Blackpool fans have learnt that piece of wisdom the hard way. Surely he's finished after Blackpool? It seems more and more lower league clubs see the value in hiring young, creative, upcoming managers, who in their right mind would turn to this dinosaur who hasn't achieved anything meaningful as a manager and is despised by nearly every one of his former clubs?! Then again, I said that after he left WBA
  22. We finished the game with 4 quality CBs on the field. What a time to be alive.
