100% I don't necessarily question his talent, I'm sure he'll go on to have a good career when all is said and done. I questioned his attitude when he was holding out for Man Utd. Why would you choose to play in that environment under a manager who'll be lucky to last the season instead of earning instant hero status with us, leading the line for an already well oiled machine and flourish under one of the best managers in the business for developing talent? I agree with the broad sentiment on here that 130m feels like a capitulation. But the business men wants to cash in on a 9 figure asset and the manager/players don't want to work with him anymore. Once we have our 2nd striker, he's gone IMO. Do yourselves a favour and completely disengage from the media and social media when it happens cause the cartel leaning media rejoicing at finally getting their way will be nauseating

Being a Strasbourg fan must be such a joy. Knowing your raison d'etre is to serve as a gym to train up the next batch of Chelsea benchwarmers. Imagine getting excited about a signing and the first thing you see is the player photoshopped in a Chelsea shirt.

With every transfer window, the bare minimum I expect is for the squad to come out of the window stronger than it was coming in. It's almost certain that we've achieved that despite losing one of our best players who is also our top scorer, that's no mean feat.

That loan to Hearts got him off on the wrong foot completely. The manager (Naismith?) never gave him a chance. I seem to remember that the rationale for sending him there was that they had a couple of Aussies at the time so at least he had a few pals he could speak Australian with. Shame it never worked out for him here but Sparta Prague is a very good move for him, I hope he smashes it over there.
