100% this mind. I don’t think many people actually know the words. In fairness as a kid going to the match I would only pick up the chorus. You’re also right in that it mostly seems to get sung maybe just after something exciting has happened so it goes light speed. No idea what changes that other than people learning the words. As much as I hate the version pre match, the verses broken up with Toon toon does slow it down.

Aside from the display, when you look around the ground these days and see all the other smaller black and white flags, the whole ground is vibrant and feels full of life. The place is absolutely beautiful because of them.

Absolutely fucking buzzing for this. First time back to SJP for six years, against the same opponents. Bringing my wee lad down for his first match. Going to enjoy it whatever the result!

Hadn’t really thought much about the dressing room photo too much, but it’s nice to look and see the different players in each one. I guess even if you’re a player that ends up playing a handful of games you can look at that and say you were a part of a win on this journey.
