We are likely getting beat here anyway, but given that we rested Woltemade and Wissa against Liverpool I’d be interested in seeing something different like a 442 with a box midfield, moving Hall into midfield and maybe sticking Burn in at left back. Failing that a 352 with Hall LWB, Wissa and Wolte up top and Ramsey/Willock as 10s, just think Tonali will struggle in midfield with that.

The results in the league are fucking shite like. Having said all of that, I find myself at times thinking that we as fans risk not enjoying the best years of supporting NUFC in 30 odd years (champions league, cups, players) by constantly worrying about how we are doing. I don’t know, I just remember when this was all we wanted a few years back and I think, well maybe we’re not getting the results but fuck me can we not enjoy this beautiful football club now?

I think the approach with GK should be to scout more of a development player with a high ceiling. Surely we can find one of those.

If he can continue this form in the LW slot, it’s incredibly helpful because we know he can actually be a goal threat. Wouldn’t actually mind a 4231 with a more compact shape through the middle with a 3 behind Wissa of Willock, Woltemade and Ramsey.
