I’m not sure any young backup would be that willing to come here tbh, Isak is clearly the man, and he’s only 24. There isn’t really a path to being the main man for the next 4-5 years. Injuries yea, but you’re still playing second fiddle for a long period.

As a cheap squad option, depending on wages, Iheanacho is fine. If it means keeping Isak and Wilson, we would get enough cover at CF for a season, and prioritise funds for elsewhere.

I’d be in favour of that signing at the right price. He’s talented.

I would rather two transformative signings than squad depth. CB, RW and hopefully Kelly and a backup keeper if we’re struggling for cash.

Yes you are right, and I’ve also been keen for us to buy someone at RW for the past 2 windows. But potentially against weaker opponents using a really physical pressing game with a line up I suggested allows us to use the pitch as essentially another man. We definitely need options though and creativity this summer is a must because this season has shown that we cannot always rely on press/physicality, we need a different way.

If we go for a floating stadium we could get the government to fund it by doubling up as accommodation for asylum seekers. Sure that would go down well with the Tory cunts in our ownership.

Speed was class for a good few seasons. Bruno is head and shoulders above him as a player though.
