Used to love hearing him at games in the 80s! Was the best part some weeks ?

Aguero was such a talented player who never won the Champions League. When people say ‘trust the process’, that’s it right there.

Fair play. City are where everybody else wants to be. They play good football and have been through the bad years. Just wish FFP wasn’t around for our first ten years under the new owners. But our time will come.

Looking at it from Bruno’s perspective, he’s clearly highly invested in the club. His family are over here, he signed when things could have gone very differently and he’s now going to be playing in Europe’s top competition against the elite in world football. If the club now invest in putting quality around him and back up the talk of ambition with real investment then I can’t see him wanting to go anywhere. He’s clearly ambitious for success but so are our owners, manager and fans so as it stands it’s a perfect fit for him.

We’re a Ginola, Beardsley and Beresford away from having a very exciting starting 11. Going to be an interesting summer.

I know it’s pie in the sky but Gibbs-White looks a player. Think I’d rather be after him than Maddison in the long term. ( Edit)Sorry - just noted the word ‘realistic’ in the topic title.

Would that then mean a return to qualifying rounds?

Watched Leicester in their last few games and apart from a decent opening 15 minutes v Liverpool they’ve been woeful. Most of their team looks devoid of confidence and they’ve just brought Evans back in at CB after a long injury layoff. There’s pace up top with Vardy and Barnes but it’s not the Vardy of a few years ago. Honestly think our top 3 will give them a lot of problems and if we score first then it’s done and dusted.

I said to so many mates that I’d be happy with a season where we’re not mentioned in terms of relegation and have a decent cup run. So proud of what we’ve done. Let the boys finish it in style!

The plus 3 goals on Thursday night are that extra safety net. Massive win against Brighton that was.

I’m at a wedding tomorrow. It’s all about the discreet iPhone placement. Just hope we don’t score as the service gets to the part about any objections… YESSS!!!!!

Imagine being a Brighton fan and getting Milner for McAllister

For a team with a reputation for great set pieces, Brentford have been woeful

Come on Brentford

Didn’t think there was anything in that VVD challenge to be fair

Was in Wilmslow, Cheshire. I worked at the school where the band got together.

I used to teach Matty when he was in Year 9. Strangest parents evening ever with Tim and Denise. Desperately wanted him to sign my box set of Auf Wiedersehen Pet but didn’t feel it was appropriate to ask ?

We’ve taken 24 of our last 27pts and are full of confidence. Let others do the worrying.

I’m always nervy when it comes to the run in. Having been through that season when we finished runners up I think it will always haunt me. However, (no pun intended), this season feels different and we just keep producing the results. I actually think we’ll finish third and that would be unbelievable given where we were 12 months ago. We’ve got to try to enjoy it and let other teams worry about us.

Just listened to a report on Napoli’s first title in 30 years. A season that was meant to be one of transition but their high intensity brand of football and their clever signings have led to early success. A city that is dominated by its football obsession. Sound familiar? We can only hope…

Always seems a tough ground to play at if they start with a high tempo which Everton did last night. The crowd make a big difference there, particularly under lights and thought we handled the first 20 minutes pretty well. After that, we started to move off the ball and the midfield got a grip. Never would have said this at the start of the season but I’m happier when Longstaff is in the engine room with Bruno. It’s been a transitional season for him and so proud he’s one of ours. Thought our finishing was clinical last night and taking that momentum into the final stages of the season will be crucial. Great times and more of them to come. Oh and Isak. We’ve got Isak ?

Love Eddie’s interviews. So level no matter the result. Exactly what our club needed.

Fantastic up top tonight. Looked dangerous every time we went forward and subs just added quality. Wouldn’t fancy playing us at the minute.

Forest forum reckons he looks like Carlton from Fresh Prince. How good would that dance be as a celebration ??
