Be very surprised if he's still here next season , would probably be a decent enough squad option for a mid table championship club .
-
He's always been a streaky player , never got why some thought him coming back into the team was suddenly going to make us class again.
-
Spurs I don't think he will leave this summer but if he does he certainly won't be going to Spurs . He will only leave us for one of the elite clubs he has a good chance of winning something at. If we struggle again next season and Arsenal come in for him and pay 100 million plus he will likely be off .
-
That Joel Bland is saying we have another unreported injury for tonight but won't say who it is as will give Everton an advantage .
-
If Everton actually tried to attack us and get at us tonight they actually have a decent chance of getting something with all the injuries we have and the fact we can't defend, as it's Dyche though they will likely just sit in and make it difficult for us to score which should play into our hands .
-
Sounds like some more big injury news to follow according to that Will bloke on twitter .
-
Just out of interest what do you expect Eddie to do differently with the defence? . He can't do much about that clown in goal which is the main reason we are conceding as many goals as we do.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

He does seem to be flapping all over the place every week though, that's nothing to do with not being a sweeper keeper . -

That first West Ham goal never happens yesterday with Pope in goal either , he would have been straight off his line to sweep up. I can't work out if he's always been this bad and we just accepted it because we were rubbish anyway or if he's actually regressed as a goalie . -
This , it's weird but seeing him in an Arsenal , Liverpool or Man United top would just feel dirty, it just feels like he deserves so much better than them awful clubs . If he does leave Man City and Pep would be perfect for him.
-
Don't think we need to worry about Isak leaving this summer , his injury record since he joined us will put teams off spending what we would want for him which I think would be at least £100 million. If we don't get back into Europe next season and he has a good season staying injury free then I can see other teams bidding big money for him.

Literally just caught up with all this England flag bollocks , the things people get wound up over these days

3 months ago I would have fancied us to win pretty much all them games barring Man United away, now when I look through them all Sheff United is the only one I am 100% confident on, mad how quickly it has all changed .
-
Add Longstaff being a regular starter in the middle and I am exactly the same.
-
Not done them all but for the bigger clubs I would rank like this . Not much in it though and I wouldn't swap Eddie for anyone barring the top two. Pep Klopp Arteta Emery Howe Postecoglou De Zebri Pochettino Erik Ten Hag Arteta needs to win the league or champions league to be put in the same bracket as Pep and Klopp.

Never thought I would be pissed off to see Liverpool lose in the last minute of extra time in any game but here we are .
-
It won't happen but if Man United somehow finished 4th it would show how poor this league actually is in terms of quality and how badly injuries have fucked us this season.
-
Villa look a shell of the team they were a few months ago .
-
Feel bad for Eddie, players just aren't good enough to get us where we want to be , massively overachieved last season yet now he's getting a load of shit for a team full of Ashley and Bruce years , nothing he can do .
-
Wow incredible, Wearside will be fewmin.
-
Bruce was far far worse than Pardew , Bruce was just a patronising bone idle lazy bastard happy to run the club he supposedly supported into the ground on behalf of Ashley, Pardew for all his faults was just a limited manager, I don't think anyone could ever accuse him of being bone idle or lazy and just fucking off on holiday whenever he fancied . At least we did also have a couple of decent seasons under him and he never pretended to be anything other than what he was . The weird thing is Pardew got way more stick than Bruce at games which I have never understood.
-
Injuries has a massive impact in December no doubt about it but it's getting harder and harder to use the injury excuse now though , performances against the likes of Luton and Bournemouth at home , as well as Blackburn away have been shambolic an that was against teams where we had a much better starting line up than they did . Even against Chelsea the other night , they were poor but we were just even worse and that's wasn't really anything to do with injuries .
-
Carragher made a point the other night that I do agree with, whilst Pope has undoubtedly been a huge miss for us you cant blame us falling apart as badly as we have on our goalkeeper getting injured.
-
We lost to Liverpool, City and Brighton after Villa, hardly surprising results, we then lost one of our next 9 league games including beating Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United in the league. We also hammered PSG during that time, took Man United apart at Old Trafford and beat Man City in the cup, we hammered Sheff United 8-0. At this point in the season everyone was happy. It was the Everton game it all started to fall apart.
