I think it's clear Howe wants to keep the group dynamic as much as possible for this season, whether Gillespie or Dummett make the full squad or not. Guessing the behind the scenes leadership group with Ritchie, Lascelles, et al, is worth it.
-
Didn't make a PL appearance last year, seems he might not make 25. Look forward to seeing him in the Champions League though...

Beresford's son not making the grade, shame.
-
Steve Bruce failed him most. Hope he at least sticks around the lower leagues.

People enjoy football for different reasons, good tactical battle, classic Italian team in a final performance.
-
Neither. Gordon's off the ball positioning is one of his weaker attributes. They've both showed willing in second half of this past season but neither are particularly great at it. Unless he's replaced with an upgrade getting rid is a nonsense.

Imagine if it was still to play for today, would be some quality tension.
-
Gordon already blowing out his arse. Guessing Murphy is next man up for CM...
-
Dubs putting himself in the shop window, good man.
-
That Hall can't defend. Almiron's playing like he's right footed with these chances, christ.
-
White shorts looks quite good with this kit.
-
One of Gordon's weakest attributes is his positional and tactical awareness, not sure how that can be coached into a decent centre midfielder at all, saying that, Howe / Joelinton happened.
-
Gordon as LCM isn't favourable, his positional awareness is nowhere near good enough for that kind of role. Still, it's Lampard's Chelsea. 5-0 Isak hattrick.
-
Nee card for Fabinho.
-
Bruno edges out Trippier and Big Joe for me but it's splitting hairs with how good the performances of our players have been this season, Wilson, Isak, Almiron, Longstaff, Willock, Botman, Schar, Pope, all top of the pops really. What a season.

Got a ticket to this

I know it's not PL but, for reference, we did it 6 times in the Championship under Rafa too.

I can only imagine what shite sleep Wout Faes is going to be getting this weekend.
-
The Liverpool supporting referee, bit late now though.
-
They can't handle the press, the can't handle the counter attack, what can Brighton handle exactly? Outcoached, outworked and outplayed.
