  1. Following which the Red Shirt weasels will convene their collection of cucks and sycophants to find some new and potentially illegal way of stopping owners from advancing their club’s progress.
  2. Controversial opinion but I thought Tino was pretty poor today. Kid’s confidence looked shot by the end, trudged off with his head down.
  3. “Welcome James Trafford…”
  4. Pleased we signed Hall. Kelly and Osula have hardly been crackers so far.

    Joelinton

One of his worst games for a while. The one he put square across the back line to get intercepted was gash. He’ll be getting an enforced breather soon once he hits 10 yellows (9 now…)
  6. Good run by Muniz across the keeper, got a toe end and nicked it past Dubs.
  7. Just got back. First half wasn’t brilliant but the second half was just nuts. Lack of effort, application, who knows but that was a million miles away from what you expect from an Eddie Howe team. Whether it was holding something back for Wednesday night I don’t know. Tino, Big Joe, Hall probably need a rest whatever. They were so off their game.
  8. Wonder what these Tory nonces will have as their bait and booze on the train up tomorrow? After last year’s champagne, Gravalax and cheese board I’m expecting next level scran. Still be shit compared to @Paully’s Smash, mushy peas, Winalot, Madri, poppers and Tampax combo.
  9. Just don’t engage with any rumours. Might see a youth teamer go out but it’s pretty obvious that the club is focusing on value now for the summer and potentially some firesale type transfer pre-June 30th if clubs need to do deals for PSR reasons. Given each position in the PL is worth about £3m, those finishing materially below where they expected could have some hefty hits - Man Utd, West Ham, Palace, even Wolves.
  10. No agenda? Fucking jokers.

    St James' Park

“Sleep in the East Stand”, “Eat in the Milburn”, “Acca check in the Leazes” and “Groan in the Gallowgate”?

    St James' Park

Slightly underwhelming on the SJP redevelopment which is where they’ll land. Feels like if they stick with SJP it’s just reheating Freddie Shepherd’s Gallowgate expansion plan. Hardly the silver bullet to closing the gap on the Sinister Six: Newcastle United are set to engage architects to lead the redesign of St James’ Park or a new build on nearby Leazes Park, and Confidential can reveal the proposed capacities and the industry-leading firm in the running. London-based KSS have been working with Tyneside architects Ryder and have met with the club. Drawings of how the two options would look have been produced and seen by staff inside St James’. We understand the plans the club are currently working to would see St James’ expanded to a capacity of 60,300, while a new stadium would hold 70,000 fans. Some of the drawings for a new build are said to have a 'bubble wrap' style design around them. If the club announce they are staying at St James’, we have been told it would mean an increase in capacity of around 8,000. Some parts of the stadium would not change dramatically in terms of looks - even though there would be extensive work throughout - and the extra seating would be accommodated in a redeveloped Gallowgate End. We understand a formal announcement regarding the direction the club will take could yet be delayed until closer to the end of the season. But the involvement of KSS would be another coup for the club, following the news that world-renowned architects Populous will design a new training ground, as revealed by Confidential last week. KSS were the brains behind the redevelopment of Anfield’s Main Stand in 2016 and won awards on the back of it. They then led the work on the Anfield Road End last year, with Liverpool's capacity rising from 42,000 in 2016 to 61,300 now. The firm are also training ground specialists and designed the state-of-the-art complexes used by Leicester, Tottenham and Brighton. Their work on stadiums includes the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Qatar, which was used during the 2022 World Cup and was where England beat Wales 3-0 in the group stage. They also designed Le Havre’s Stade Oceane, which has the ‘bubble wrap’ exterior similar to descriptions of how a new stadium for Newcastle could look. KSS said: ‘The pixelated ETFE shell cladding imitates the two core elements of sea and sky and acts as a shining beacon for the city, day and night’. And of their work on Anfield, KSS state: ‘The architectural design reflects the owners’ request to maintain the traditional four-stand configuration, capture the unique spirit of the venue using club and historical references, and reinforce the intense Anfield spectator experience.’ KSS did not comment when approached by Mail Sport.
  13. Yes, needed to have been signed before the first leg. That’s regardless of whether he’s already played for Villa too.
  14. Villa’s crunch will come now they’re through in the CL - and realistic to go into the last 8 given who’s in their mini pot for the last 16 - and if they progress in the FA Cup. They’ve got Spurs at Villa Park in the next round so very progressable.
  15. There’s a lot of scope for refreshing the squad in the summer, where there’s better value. We have a maximum of: 15 league games 2 Carabao cup games 5 FA Cup games to navigate this season. We have Wilson and Barnes theoretically fit in 2 weeks, leaving Lascelles as the only crock and Joelinton currently the only player close to nudging a two match yellow card suspension, which honestly feels an inevitable conclusion by March. The hope is Bunce and co can manage us through to the end without any major injuries. There are currently only 3 midweekers left in the calendar but possibility for more if we go through vs Arsenal and in the FA Cup quarter, semi and final.
  16. Looking further ahead I’m torn on whether I want Spurs to stay in or drop out of the Top 8 in the Europa. Top 8 guarantees them two games bookending the Carabao final weekend, whereas finishing outside of it means two games earlier where they run the risk of being knocked out and having a day extra to prepare. Probably false hope in that Liverpool will muller their walking wounded in the 2nd leg at Anfield next week making it a moot point.
  17. Him and Dibling being linked with Spurs.
  18. PSR knobs more like; Masters and his Cartel Commanders.
