Just started watching it and it the most noticeable thing in the first two months is how central Isak is to everything we did. He was so deadly in front of goal and such a big part of our DNA at the time. Sitting back and reflecting, it just lends a lot more weight to the “transition” season argument when you take such a big component out of a system. I’ve had some doubts in the last few months but it’s only when you take the time to look back at the goals, assists and link up play of peak Isak that you appreciate what he brought to the team. I look forward to seeing Eddie’s evolution of the team and fuck the rat cunt in his Merseyside nest.
