Rice is suffering under Moyes and Southgate. His development has stalled.

He comes across very well in interviews, seems very humble and a nice guy. His work rate is brilliant, he's surprised me with how good he's been.

Brentford season over
-
Bizarre isn't it as their personnel has improved on paper.
-
I don't disagree, thought you meant normal fitness like bleep test.
-
He wasn't getting tackled he kept trying long balls that failed.
-
I'd like a brand new 90,000 seater stadium please barkeep.
-
What makes Isak our best player? Not being contrarian, I just want to know so I can get hyped.
-
Shelvey can be as fit as he likes, he'll still conceede possession all game on Wednesdays showing, he was a disgrace.
-
Manquillo was SO poor. Made a mistake every time he touched the ball.
-
Worst ref cost us a win this season from a clear goal that he disallowed even after looking at it on the screen, against Palace. In my opinion.
-
He's quality, simple as. Nuff sed.

I think Bruno pound for pound has made the biggest impact and he's very likeable. Nick Pope is my favourite ever Newcastle keeper, that includes Shay, I was a 90s child. Botman is my favourite ever Newcastle CB. Trippier my fave ever right back. I could go on. On full form, full potential. Saint Max is hard to look past.

Bizarre isn't it, I assume he does some things off the ball that manager's like or maybe it's just the Man Utd factor.
-
The "talented" needs to be emphasised, he's more than just hard work, he's very clever

Pay close attention to 9:35 mins in, it sounds so simple, I have a feeling Eddie might have a very high IQ he's just hiding it behind a humble exterior. I've not heard of that concept before, he makes it sound like it's nothing but on paper it's genius. He should keep that quiet, Guardiola will steal it

Smaller stadium and worse fans to be fair.

My memory failing me as usual.
-
Very humble and a lighthearted comment, good to see that. Can't wait for him to score a goal, matter of time.

Agreed. I'm excited to see how he develops over the coming years. I am not sure he'll ever have that level of ability re Carrick in regards to setting a tempo and controlling the flow a game, but it's great to see such a massive improvement. Onwards and upwards for him, hopefully he stays clear of injuries.
