  1. It's also a cunts trick to run at an opponent with your elbow like that. Truly awful football club.
  2. I have to admit I was a tad underwhelmed with him today. He just didn't look physically right. It was like he came on having already played a game in the morning. I hope he can figure out whatever has him like this.

Honestly, given how many points he's won us during this run I'll forgive him losing a £100m player for 30 seconds. At worst it should have been 1-1. The fact he's walking around with what looks like a bullet hole shows how unlucky he's been today.

I still can't fathom why VR haven't told him to look at that penalty. Truly baffling.
  5. If this was Serie A you'd think there was a fix on.
  6. Almost as bad as when he went on national radio to suggest him and Potter were in the same league.
  7. And remember, there wasn't this same response when Rafa left. I think they all knew sharpish Bruce was a charlatan and the second he threw them under the bus they were checked out.
  8. I can't figure out Burnley. I know everyone was gassed about the Wout Weghorst signing but he's only scored once. Even today, he was barely involved.

Proof as to why RTG is largely an insane asylum with a few guards. I count one that said he was happy for us to avoid Saudi ownership, the rest just saw it as funny. They'd pull their cock iff if it was them.
  10. Eddie talking about going away over the international break - citing the trip to Saudi as a good bonding experience. That reminded me that the highlight of that trip was Ciaran Clark chinning some lad on the pitch.

There's really not a lot on offer for traveling fans unless you want a night out in Newcastle.
  12. It wasn't all down to him. In fact, it was a tale as old as time. Manager comes in, makes sweeping changes, it doesn't work, the loan players are the first to suffer as you don't owe them anything. Matty could and should have played better but he was sent up the creek by whoever organised the deal (I also heard he was forced to sign a new deal on less money before he was allowed to leave). I don't know how he's doing at Mansfield outside of scoring a few goals.
  13. I was just watching the game back over lunch and thought the same. Shelvey can't ride challenges like that.
  14. I think after his apology it serves no purpose to pick apart every minute of his performance on Thursday as you'd be disappointed with anything but faultless. Instead, I saw a player put his body on the line, organised the midfield, and ultimately produce a moment of quality on the ball when the chips were down.
  15. Disappointing to see him not muster up a better immune system when we needed him on this run. But we were warned about his attitude.
  16. It's amazing to me that only now, two decades after he bought the club, that we're even discussing this. And once again, blue ticks and journalists are demanding fans do more. We didn't put the fox in the hen house, we didn't push coverage of his background into the long grass. I don't agree with them chanting his name, but there's a fuck load of church mice that have suddenly decided they want to speak up.

    Joe Willock

He's like an 8/10 hybrid. Crashes the box well but is also a sneakily good pressing midfielder. I think he'll be annoyed with that chance.
  18. A big collection from a corner and a massive save when we needed him - the Dubs of old in many ways.

I thought he had a brief discomfort when Armstrong came on. That said, once again we're talking about a player that is physically imperious while also being able to judge when we can play at the back. I really love what him and Schar have become during this run.
  20. I love his mentality. He seems to always say the right thing.
  21. Played a massive role in these last two wins.
  22. Aye, he should be nowhere near the job. Outside of ambassadorial stuff I want no nepotism with sporting roles.
  23. Let us also not forget he created a brilliant chance for Willock to score near HT.
