You'd hope the squad will be stronger next season though. Only having Ritchie, Dummett, two keepers and a couple of youth players on the bench really killed us for a couple of months. Our 3rd and 4th choice options in each position next year should be so much better that this kind of season happening again is hopefully not possible. Plus the luck we've had this season with some of the injuries and Tonali can't surely happen again.

Chelsea having Bournemouth last day of the season is a little safety net I think. That Bournemouth team even with nothing to play for will want to end as high up the table as possible. I think Chelsea lose that. Reckon they win their next two though. Even though Brighton is a dodgy one for them.
-
Let's go Palace. A win would be great, but a big humping would be even better, both to hurt Man Utds fragile ego but also to damage their GD. Not that we need that but would be funny to see them finish below Chelsea.
-
Would a potential appointment of Dougie Freedman scupper any chance for us to sign a Palace player? Seems like that could be a clause that might be inserted for this coming summer if he comes in for then. Would be sensible by Palace if nothing else.
-
He's had this injury before. So I wouldn't be all that concerned about him not mentally being ready to return. He'll know if it feels right. Seems like by the time he returns it could well be the same exact number of days as it was the first time.

That was my thinking yes, keep Wilson and bring a versatile forward player in (like Gordon and Isak are). Ofcourse if Wilson leaves then that does change things in some ways but doesn't mean he can't be replaced by a versatile forward player and still bring in another out and out RW. My biggest worry with Wilson is that he'll get injured during pre-season and then we've screwed ourselves out of getting any money for him and also our sqaud is considerably weaker without much chance of bringing in a replacement.
-
I'd be happy with the two free transfers touted at CB, one quality proven RW and a couple of young Championship talents to fill the spaces left by those out of contract. Ideally a GK amongst that. This is only based on us keeping Isak and Bruno (selling Miggy and one other), if not we'll need something bigger.

Very very very slim chance of making the England squad now? Southgate has been at our last 2 games now and the squad sizes have gone up to 26. Plus England have no fit LBs it would seem and even Tripps might struggle to be fit for the summer to fill in there. Long shot obviously but it's not impossible.
-
Sums up football really that half the fanbase is looking at 5th thinking we can catch Spurs and the other are wondering if we'll still get Europe in 8th spot if Chelsea and Man Utd overtake us.
-
The sooner Antony Taylor gets thrown down to L1 and L2 the better. He's awful.
-
Get Isak another couple and get him off for Anderson or Big Joe.
-
He needed that to keep up with the golden boot guys. Especially after that penalty.
-
Well that's shit. There goes his perfect record. Wilson was obviously putting him off.
-
Pope is the only keeper on the bench.
-
Them finishing this season just 6pts above relegation would be quite something. Hilarious really.
-
Well that's a terrible decision. If that's a foul then what the fuck is going on.
-
Here's me saying yesterday we've seen the death of 3/5 at the back and we'll have to stick with 433 for the rest of the season and Edward has gone and done that.
-
Bringing Brexit football back to Turf Moor. We'll be heralded by the home supporters like heroes.
-
FOUR FOUR FUCKING TWO!
-
I'd not even be shocked to see him as the 3rd keeper on the bench. Karius and Gillespie got some competition for their spot now.
-
There would still be people on Twitter saying "I think he's worth a punt for £20M" Biggest blown career of the last few seasons. All he had to do was NOT move to Man City. Now he'll struggle to ever regain what he had at Leeds/England at that time.
-
Well that's a huge blow. Krafth is going to have to step up massively now. Also buggers any chance of us doing 3/5 at the back again this season.
-
That's not what I said now is it The FA will see Southgate tenure as a success (mostly) given the amount of progress that been made. So why not follow the same model and appoint Carsley. Not that I believe that's the right thing to do at all.
-
The FA will look at how it's worked out for Southgate and I've got no doubts they'll be considering the same about Carsley. He's actually won something managing his England team remember.

Yes they can, I worded it badly but what I meant was more towards talking about pre contract agreements. They can talk to other clubs but cannot sign pre contract agreements with another PL club until a month before their current contract runs out. So in January, Adarabioyo or Kelly could have signed a pre contract with any non PL club. But cannot do so until May 30th for us, so technically either could actually be "signed" by then May 30th but wouldn't officially start his contract until his current one ends on June 30th.
