Yeah, anything £35m and under and it's a fine move - leaves us around £40m leftover from the Ekitike deal too to put towards Trafford/CB and a midfielder.

It could make some sort of sense - we bid for Ekitike, gets rejected. We then go back to sort out a deal with Leeds for Longstaff which gives us that extra 60m PSR buffer which means we can then go back in for Ekitike and up the offer without screwing up the CB/GK plans. Maybe.
