From all reports it seems like Targett has been in very good form this season with a healthy run - he'd definitely have been an upgrade on Alex Murphy who we had to bring on for Hall on Saturday. We can't assume that we'll always have the fit CBs we need to have the luxury of putting Burn at LB, instead we're just gonna run Hall into the ground. Anyway, seems like the decision is made so too late now anyway.

Hope says Targett will stay at Middlesboro too - feels like we should have been more selfish there to protect Hall.

On the plus side, at least Liverpool will equally be caught by surprise!

Not a critisism (I wouldn't dare) but can you imagine just how much more insane he would be if he was more comfortable with his right foot? Have noticed a couple of times in recent weeks where he doesn't feel confident to deliver or shoot with his right, which makes his performances even more incredible. Would love to see him really develop that and become even more unpredictable in his play.
