Was hoping for this one to move along from rumour to consideration

    Malick Thiaw

Thiaw could absolutely become our starting CB this season, I don’t understand this attitude of writing young players off when they have had a rough time or a bad few moments. Hes 24 and has all the attributes needed to start and exceed in the PL, with some different coaching he could be transformed from the rough diamond that he is right now. We’ve seen this coaching staff do it time and time again with all sorts of players.

Ah yes, the classic level headed Italian media reports.

Early on last season he made a few mistakes ands its sort of carried on from that, he had a few rough games but nothing crazy. The Titus comparisons are well off.

I like this, think he'll transition easily into PL football.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

You need to zoom out. Worse than any of the Ashley years?

    Nicolas Jackson

Just to make the point, I’d much prefer Jackson at 65ish than Šeško at 80.

A player whos potential for growth here would be exciting, but I’d have him closer to 65 rather than the 80 quoted.. Hes a good player already, he’d win the doubters over quickly. Howe would have him moving like a menace in our front line. BUT the contract he’s on at Chelsea likely kills this one stone dead anyway, if true at all of course.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

He’s a good enough solution to losing Isak but you just know if there is anything to it Chelsea will try and have our eyes out.
  10. Brutal that he’s had no pre season now, he likely won’t be starting vs Villa if he’s still here. I think Liverpool bid again next week.

Nowhere near a German Titus. A good player who may have issues mentally. No doubt Howe and co have decided he is worth making a project out of, I think he’s been a long term lingering sort of target that we could have moved for after the Guehi situation last summer. New club, new start could do him a world of good.
  12. We wouldn’t be bidding €80m for him if we had any doubts about his mentality
  13. Don’t let that get in the way of our fans flapping and wanting to fuck the deal off because Šeško didn’t swim here
  14. We don’t really know what’s happening or how this scenario plays out, it seems to me to he’s waiting it out for a Man United offer to but this isn’t uncommon.. it’s how negotiations work. Howe wouldn’t be okay with signing a player that out and out didn’t want to play for our club.

    Marc Guehi

    And then FM crashed
  16. Howe has a way with words. He knows exactly how to play things publicly, keeps the fans in check.
  17. Waiting for that juicy Man United contract offer
  18. Well maybe it wasn’t the same deal he was offered here?
  19. People saying the likes of ‘he‘ll never play here again if he stays’, ‘burnt bridges’ etc etc. So many examples of players who have pulled this kind of manoeuvre and ended up staying and all being rosey. Kane not long ago for one. We’ll all quickly move on if he stays and scored another 20+.
  20. If we can get anywhere towards 150 for a player that no longer wants to be here then that won’t be a bad day for us at all, that’s a lot of potential juicy reinvestment into the squad.
  21. I’ll give you the playing in an easier league/for a better team, yeah that maybe true. But I still don’t think there’s to much difference risk wise to summer 2022 Isak. A lot of people thought we overpaid for him.
  22. Have we forgotten that Isak scored 6 goals in 30+ league games the season before we signed him? Im not advocating signing Sesko, but risk wise I’m not sure there’s much between them.
