I’m going for a 3-1 to NUFC -
The Rorschach test on the right is ‘knacker’
-
He was there for four years previously; settling in is unlikely to be a problem. It was a good sale for us.
-
We’ll have played Barca more times in the last 23 years as we have Sunderland in the last 12 after tomorrow night.

Man Utd seemed to wear black shorts a lot in the ‘90s from memory -

We did - Gullit changed our socks to white because every team he played for had white socks and he claimed it was easier to pass to teammates in white socks. Don’t know if that the latter part is true, but it didn’t help us at any rate (though that was probably more due to spunking millions on shite like Silvio Maric) -

Yeah fair enough - I’m not really that bothered about kit, sometimes I forget that when I’m writing on the internet it can be read like I really care, when it’s genuinely more of a shrug and a ‘I don’t think it looks good but it isn’t important’ type of thing. xG can also be a bit daft as well mind -

We could be wearing pink and orange stripes and I’ll be happy that we won - but the question was about a preference for wearing white shorts and socks. -

Yep, I went too far with ‘hate’ - but I don’t like it -

Didn’t realise anyone liked that - I bloody hate it when we wear white socks (or shorts) -

Also unnecessary given that there is no clash. Though at least UEFA has stopped that weird rule about the home team wearing the away kit. -
Seems pretty straightforward to me - if you’re averaging less than a point a game you’re very likely to be relegated. Eight points from the first six games is upper midtable form.
-
It didn’t look that way to me - it meant that Ashley roughly broke even (not allowing for the free advertising over the years). A shite return on a PL club of our size - it’s why the ‘he ran it well as a business’ crowd were absolutely full of shite.

Being 29 makes absolutely no difference to PSR

There’s no better sight in football than Newcastle’s centre forward planting a header into the back of the net
-
I always thought the 97-99 home kit shorts were the best we had (I never had them, though)
-
Steven Taylor is a hard act to follow in that shirt
-
He didn’t, as he wouldn’t have allowed such poor forward positional play to have to do that in the first place
-
Beardsley has all our French wingers on toast

It was said over a year after the APT rules were brought in. They brought the criticism on themselves in that regard. None of these things have been explained.

Robert's output is why he was selected. Bellamy was possibly the hardest-working forward I've seen in B&W. Romario scored fucking truckloads and was a sublime forward. As I said, Robson towards the end of his time with NUFC was a reduced figure - which is why the real pisstaking commenced. There is zero chance a lazy HBA with little output is indulged.
-
You'll need to name them - it was only towards the end of his time with NUFC that he seemed to lose control over the idiots. Don't remember him entertaining this with Ipswich, his European clubs or England - it was perform or you're out. HBA put in very few good performances relative to his talent. Pardew was the perfect manager for him as he could indulge him.

Because we’re an investment and not an empty vessel to pour money into. There are still folks who think without PSR, PIF would have put billions in.
