If he's a right pest, what would Isak be like to train against each day?
-
Honestly can't choose if they were the worst side we've seen this season in the first 45 or if we were just slick as fuck?
-
Think it's fair to say despite how shit Man U were, we have evolved with the ball when we've got a lead. Far more relaxed, it's so good for our game management I'm loving it. Is Dubs a part of it? I think so, we use him so much more than we would Pope. Tonali obviously a huge part.

That was for Dan Ashworth.

I have played football, I was a left back. Opinion valid.

These images show it best for me. There's only one place that right foot should be landing, but look where it ends up.
-
I'd say you're right. When watching it back, it looks like his leg was going to the side of Schar to just land on the ground and he changes that and makes it land on the man instead, then it slips down his back and almost gets his head. Christ that last part doesn't sound good :-)

Scored the winner for Hibs today!

Newcastle United vs. Aston Villa: 26/12/24 @ 15:00 (Amazon Prime Video)

It's an interesting one from Howe's point of view each time this game comes up imo, in terms of wanting too beat the guy that was "first" choice. We can smash these, let's see both quality teams. Thinking that they won't be able to handle our midfield currently, we will dominate the game there and setup Isak with ease, leaving a CB flat on his back! Going to be one of those games. Toooon! Feels ages away though with the whole Christmas thing going on. -

How are they looking injuries wise in comparison to us in our CL point of the season? I can't remember when the injury pile up happened tbh? -
That thing he does where he switches the ball from one foot to the other mid dribble at ridiculous speed to find abit of space or beat his man, I just can't get my head around it. The way he takes the ball in his stride and his speed is unaffected must be a nightmare for defenders, and a dream for our players passing to him, as you can basically pass to him in any situation. I can't think of a time when he's received the ball and not done something with it, be it lay it off or do a dribble he rarely ever just immediately loses it with a bad touch or gets tackled. In regards to his finishing, I think hes lethal. Start of the season everyone was saying most matches we weren't creating chances for him, he's isolated and so on. We've only really just started to 'click' and we're now seeing the chances start to flow, he's just warming up and has still kept good pace with the other 'top' strikers due to the teams form imo. That hatrick was him turning into Sub Zero, just watch. Dude can score in so many ways that others wouldn't even bother attempting. Isak's #1 fan x

Other than replacing him, whatever happens it's win win for us. We either have a world class player in the most important position, or we make a massive wedge. We all want him to stay though of course. If he was to go, an Arsenal or a team of their level isn't his place for me. He's above that, and would deserve a serial winners type team imo. Replacing the goals and the way he joins in an attack with his passing ability will be something close to impossible to replace at our current stage. We hit the jackpot with this one.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Proper odd being only a point behind City, even with their form. We're right in the race currently, which makes it interesting going into Jan, surely worth strengthening? -
What I've noticed most is our speed of play, far less time spent thinking what to do and now just getting it done. Lots of first time passes makes us so dangerous with the pace we have, doesn't give defenders a chance to react! Tooooon!

Lozano leaving to MLS this window. More likely to replace him.

Not exactly a transfer rumour but just needed to highlight what a fuckin' idiot this bloke is. When asked where Grealish should move to, Deeney told talkSPORT: “Newcastle, easy. There’s loads of teams, anyone outside the top four. “Anyone outside the top four, he would easily go into and dominate, if he went to Newcastle, it would be considered a massive step down for him. “But it’s a great club with a great fanbase and I think Jack needs to feel that again, feel that he’s loved, feel that the fanbase love him, but also he’s the man to drive them forward.”

It's because he's finally signed up to N-O and read our advice.

No striker we sign is getting ahead of Isak, so we have to sell a bench role and a 'maybe' a path opens for you, to a player like Evan Ferguson who is pretty much in that same position currently and would likely be looking for a starting spot.
