Anyone know how they got to the decision to disallow it? -

I'm fucking furious, that's the worst one so far this season. Joke. -

I'd just rather both be able to play the simple passes with ease on their correct foot. How many times have you seen Miggy recently get into a good spot to shoot or pass but he can't because he wants that one extra touch or to stop and cut back inside. We will miss out on simple goals because we've got an ST that will be in good positions often, but players not able to make the pass 9 time out of 10. -

Based on neither Almiron or Fraser being that good at cutting in, I'd rather they switched sides to be on their strong foot to play balls into Isak. Particularly Miggy, the amount of times he delays whatever he's planning because he wants to be on his left then we miss out on an easy opportunity or shot on goal because of it. -

Eddie is a step ahead of Patrick for me and knows how to counter other styles very well. Hard fought game but our quality comes through. Crowd will be well up for it after Arsenal + Isak home debut. 3 - 0 2 for Isak, 1 for Botman -
10 I don't think people realise what Isak is going to be for us, or just don't want to get ahead of themselves. If there's one ST spot it's bench for Wilson, this kid is going to smash it. To add to that Bruno, Botman and Isak should not be with us at this stage of our project, how we've pulled those signings off I will never know especially while maintaining our wage structure. We are so well run now in my eyes, it unbelievable the turn around, basically a dream.

10/10 window for me. Compared to where we were, there is no comparison. I also think signing a striker of Isak's quality is such a leap forward, I know it's very early days but I think we're looking at a 20+ goals a season player, which is clearly so hard to find as barely any other teams have them. 100% they've gone with quality over quantity. Correct decision imo, however much we crave new signings.

I don't think they want to add too many players in one go. If the RW and midfielder positions were sorted as we would like, then we'd be looking at a first XI with max 3 of the 'old guard', ASM, Joelinton and Schar?. That would be mad to pull off in two windows, not sure how our current players would like it suddenly all being bench/squad players. Don't care though, get em in!!

Actually was thinking the same, especially as he could hold the smile back. Maybe Bruno injury is also bullshit so we can shock them with those two.
-
One more minimum for me. Preferably two, one as a loan.
-
Probably the club that were aiming for at the moment, West Ham. Areola and Fabianski, possibly best 1 and 2 in the league, maybe?
-
Thankfully nothing can be drawn out at this point, deals will be done quickly!

He's been awful so far this season.

Surely thats rice pudding, or do people eat cold custard from a tin? -
It's something else in that pic that worries me.

Still can't believe we've signed Isak, this was the level of player I thought was completely out of reach atm, and we would've been laughed at for thinking otherwise. If he was to hit the ground running, we will have accelerated our project drastically by finding the hardest piece of the puzzle, a top goal scorer.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
BonesJones replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Injured isn't he? Not that it means anything. -
Think Sangare has signed a new contract, he's the one I want aswell serious talent for that position.
-
You think things are unrealistic after we signed Isak out of absolutely nowhere? Far as I'm concerned now, almost anything could happen.
-
Shit to lose him when things are looking so good for us right now. What I hope is that he comes back and features as much as he can for the rest of the season, then if he's willing to do a Dwight Gayle, just stay fit and ready on the bench going forward I'd be happy with that.
-
Can't believe I just watched that. Something must've changed at our club...

Just waiting for it to start on my screen
