  1. And we play his boy’s team at the weekend, hope he’s there, but doubt it.
  2. He’s bulked up like, but isn’t fat, and when I gave him a hug he felt rock solid, but then he was standing next to a legend. Oh and he’s tiny size and frame wise, my boy is about a foot off him and he’s just turned nine. Super super bloke, love him, KK vibes, tactically and intellectually arguably our best manager and I say that with KK my hero, having loved sir Bobby, Hughton and Rafa too. The great thing is for us, he’s not even at his peak for us nor are the players and team. I’m just so stoked for him and his staff and the players, what a year man! Eddie Howe’s Black and White Army!
  3. Aye, but it’s more of a closed shop today, a young Sir Bobby today with Ipswich would do well just to keep them up in say the top-flight or take them up into the top-flight. I get your point though!
  4. Delighted with the result, clean sheet and just how strong we were mentally. Yes on the ball we were not at our best, but this is arguably the best Arsenal side for years and years and they have so much attacking quality and have good defensive players too. After an early dangerous spell, they rarely troubled us and we had arguably the better chances. To go there and come away with a clean sheet is superb.
  5. I don’t mind Parker, I hope he does well, it’s a brave move and considering his age, he’s not done too bad in management thus far. He has more about him than say Gerrard and Lampard for example. We need our players and managers to experience football away from England, it broadens the horizon, just look at our own Sir Bobby.
  6. I loved my trip there a few years back. Love Belgium full stop and the people are great, they seem to love the English and Geordies especially from my experience.
  7. Arsenal were the original shit house type team under Wenger, they can go and fuck themselves. If anything, if they are to win the league, they need to be more of a shit house team themselves as they’ve always been a bit brittle since they last won it, mentally, physically and under pressure. They were losing their heads towards the end, lead by Lego man head.

    Dan Burn

He’s had a few games where he’s been over ran, but recovered to remain solid for the remainder of the game. He’s been superb for us, yes our game changed somewhat last night to protect him more, but it is a team game after all and he’s been doing that himself since he signed, protecting others. Long may it continue!
  9. I’m loving it, fuck them all!
  10. Poor on the ball, great defending after an iffy start, this has a one goal next wins it type of feel. Howay the lads, we can do this!
  11. 50 quid a year for me, IPTV Firestick thing, works a treat all the time.
  12. No thanks, Ronaldo can do one, he’s toxic nowadays.
  13. Love a Paully pint in hand post, two legends, apparently Bruno’s dad wants to move here ha ha
  14. Ironically every time I’ve been to a ‘Heed game if not in corporate I’ve had a swift pint and some scran at half-time, mind you literally wait minutes!
  15. Dunno, I get people needing a piss and to stretch their legs, but again why anyone would wait in huge lines for a pint of overpriced piss and some skanky food is beyond me! Whenever I’ve been recently which is about 5 matches in a few years, I have a can/whiskey at home, a pint or two on the way as I live near a pub where the bus stop is right outside and some scran at the burger van outside the stadium, and maybe a quick half-time piss and that’s it.
  16. I’ve never understood why fans would wait in huge lines for some overpriced shitty food and pissy drink when surely you can get a decent bit of grub and a few pints before the match, be capable of waiting at least 90s mins for some food and drink, can bring food into the stadium and even sneak drink in which I’ve done many a time and most of my mates who still go, do as well.
  17. Aye no need for the murderers craic, it’s akin to the mackems calling us murderers, camel humpers, terrorists and whatever. I don’t now like LFC as a club and a lot of their fans are intolerable, but mainly it’s the none Scouse/Liverpool base of their fans. Heyzel was a disaster, but not all down to LFC fans, the stadium wasn’t fit for purpose, both sets of fans were having a go at each other and the policing was shocking too.
  18. Doubt Klopp will be playing a board game of Monopoly tonight. They look absolutely shite and it’s great to see
  19. There has and always will be great footballers, before and after Pele, but my god, again, he did things with a ball for the first time at 15 or 17 we recognise today even from average players. Again every trick, piece of skill or flair my boy displays as a 9 year old on his 7-aside pitch comes from Pele and he knows it, I know it and we all should. He was remarkable and I’m not even Brazilian, but this one hurts and I like what my mate said the other day, Pele didn’t score over 1000 goals, he scored millions and millions because every kid in his era and even after he stopped playing wanted to be, picked themselves as and pretended to be Pele and every goal they scored was as Pele. That’s his legacy, my boy knows who he is, acknowledges he’s either the GOAT or one of them and again every trick, skill or bit of flair comes from that great great footballer. The King for me! It’s a sad time for your nation and people Flip, but yous have been blessed with having someone like him play for and represent your country.
  20. Shola wasn’t the best player for us, but gave us some top memories/moments and is a top bloke, my wife knows his family and they are all lush people. He’s no legend, maybe more of an icon and probably infamous for being not so good more than anything else. He’s been reported as our loan manager these days, but from what I’ve been told that’s changed, he’s more of a player liaison officer and by all accounts he’s loved at the club. He also does some coaching with the kids at NUFC. I like the fact Wor Flags recognise former players even if they were not the greatest. He’s scored away at Barcelona, scored plenty against the mackems, helped us with his goals to achieve promotion and set up Shearer for his record breaking goal, and Cisse away to Chelsea for his goal of the season. I don’t mind him me, he’s a good egg and I bet he was buzzing with his banner/flag thing and his family who came here and devoted themselves to our community and all things NUFC/Newcastle. And he’s Nigerian, probably my fave race of people as I have many friends originally from there, the happiest and most positive people I’ve ever met and their food…
  21. They are both cunts, but it says it all about Bruce that Pardew is a bit more likeable…
  22. He’s a luxury player basically. He goes missing too much for me. Would he be an upgrade on say Shelvey or Longstaff? Easily, but I’d prefer a different type of player myself for our midfield. Having said that, again, I wouldn’t say no because on his day he’s a top player. I’d love us to sign Maddison, he’d be perfect for us.
  23. He’s been a very good ‘keeper for us and is still more than capable, there is something very off about his whole loan move to Man Utd though, did he throw a hissy fit having signed Pope as number one? Did he agitate for a permanent move and the club refused? Did he have a falling out with the manager? Who knows. I’d personally sell and I’d rather keep the ex Liverpool ‘keeper. Dubravka always takes a while to get into form when having not played for a while and yes he’s a good ‘keeper to have as number 2, but that he needs a few run of games to get back into form needs taken into account.
  24. Class that, poor Henry the hoover though having to clean all that confetti up!
