  1. There's talk about Branthwaite missing U21 Championships this Summer because of his hamstring injury, so fair to assume he'll be missing Sunday.
  2. Lot of clubs with nothing to play for in the last game will be resting and rotating for various reasons, so doesn't seem impossible to me it's true, but good chance it's bs of course.
  3. Not trying to be some ITK wanker lol, and no idea on how credible the info is, but supposedly Pickford won't be playing Sunday as they've gave him leave to go enjoy the playoff final. May sound like bollocks but if memory serves me right hasn't he don't this before? Also he's not played previously vs us even though he wasn't injured so maybe it's true. Either way echo what others have said, gotta look forward to these moments, whatever happens its best season in my lifetime, Sunday will top it off when we get it done.
  4. Really wouldn't surprise me at all if Man U get a result tnite, don't they have a few good results against other so called top 6 teams? Relatively speaking that is giving where they are in the league. Chelsea aren't that good, and will come onto them which suits their counter attacking setup. Be a big shock if Villa don't win but no result in Chelsea Man U game will be that much of a shock for me.
  5. Fuck letting PSR dictate the way you think all the time as well, so over that way of thinking, even if it is the smart choice, they've took enough emotion out of the game with VAR! If you're over 35 and want Man U to win, your touched! Will be rooting for Spurs 1000%
  6. Leicester have announced Sunday will be Vardy's last game for the club, if he scores it's 200 goals for the club, seems highly possible he'll get booked in the resulting celebration. Can get 14/1 on betMGM which is much bigger than most other places, Skybet moved from 12/1 to 9/1 in under 5 minutes so think other's are playing the same angle, glgl if you get on it.
  7. It 100% is when there's one source putting out info, who's a known universal bullshitter that will put anything for clicks.
  8. Interesting what they're going to do with him and Mamardashvili, assume neither is gunna accept being #2
  9. Sure, and obviously Pope is better than him, but when they replace Sanchez this Summer if Pope was available do you expect Chelsea to be interested? I would be shocked if he was Chelsea's #1 GK next season
  10. I mean as their 1st choice GK
  11. If your referring to my post you've misread what I said (if not then ignore me lol), no top 6 side will want to buy him, I'm absolutely certain on that, that's already enough to tell me that's a problem. There's very few players in our 1st eleven that would be true about besides Pope. I also think it's highly unlikely a side that finishes top 10 would look to buy him either. He's had two bad shoulder injuries, that would put many off, his kicking is arguably the worst in the league, and most managers want a keeper good with their feet to play out from the back. I'm not trying to disrespect Pope, been a great Keeper for us, will always be a legend for being part of the cup winning team, but someone will always be the weakest of the 11, for me it's very very clearly him in the current 1st team 11 which makes it essential we upgrade him.
  12. It's mindblowing to me that people think we should sign a CM over a GK! Pope can go down as a legend for the club for what he's done, but I guarantee no top 6 clubs in the Premier League would want to take him, you can probably go as far as to say top 10, maybe even top 15. Some people massively underestimate the power of an elite GK, it's essential we upgrade our GK in the Summer.
  13. A section of our fanbase needs to realise we are a proper fucking team now! Stop doubting them, that negativity you've kept hold of for years that's become habitual because we never won anything needs to stop, we didn't play anywhere near our best and it was an easy win, we are very very fucking good, let yourself start to believe, we are fucking class, get used to it!
  14. We'll fucking batter these today, so confident we'll get it done, let's go!!!
  15. I'm not in the equation but I literally can't pass highlights on YouTube and not watch it again, like it feels like I would be out of line to see it and not watch it lol, will never get sick of it, legends to a man every one of them!
  16. Wanted to let people have the rollover sweat
  17. A late switch to Brentford is tempting...
  18. 6:47 onwards, love this aggro interviewer owning Arteta haha, also Micah Richards jesus, supports 6 clubs already, now seems he's a PSG fan, wtf this guy!
  19. Chelsea's away form in order Fulham - Won 2-1 Brentford - Drew 0-0 Arsenal - Lost 1-0 Villa - Lost 2-1 Brighton - Lost 3-0 Man City - Lost 3-1 Palace - Drew 1-1 Ipswich - Lost 2-0 Everton Drew 0-0 Spurs Won 4-3 We are better than these and we should be expecting to beat them. I'm very confident we'll get it done, again!
  20. I maybe undervaluing the leadership element, but I don't think that's justification to keep a backup RB on such big wages given the trust I have in the management team and the amount of experience we have among the players in the dressing room. My heart says he's earned the right to choose when he goes, my head says we need to be ruthless in moving players out at the right time and this Summer feels like the right time for me with Trippier.
  21. He's been immense in recent games, his legendary status at the club is locked in, and as said above there's no question he's the best RB to play for Newcastle in the modern era. However, I think best for both parties would be for Trippier to move on this Summer. He's 5th highest in wages at the club I believe, that's a lot of wages going to a backup RB which is what he will be next season. Sure he has a lot of experience, but we have many senior players with good experience now, and more importantly all who've now won something. We can't keep hold of everyone forever, as much as we love them, and for him it seems best to go somewhere he'll be 1st choice for the last stage of his career, he spoke about this in an interview with Neville that he's no issue dropping down leagues if he needs to in order to play, so that may well be his wish.
  22. Always will be room for improvement somewhere, but who would you suggest is playing better than us in the recent period (say last 6-8 weeks)?
  23. It's not optimism though, it's realism! We are arguably playing the best football in the country right now based on recent form and performances, bookies expect us to finish 3rd, 2nd is definitely possible.
  24. Fernandes is 31 in September, think you have to seriously question his drive and ambition to be willing to stay at Man Utd past this season @Froggy
