Poor performance but won. Thought burn and kraft were good, backs to the wall. Thought Joelinton did better today, still not great but better - contribution for goal was class. Gordon's performance was worrying. Isak looked isolated and even his touches looked a bit off. Longstaff was poor. Why did he take Barnes off and not Gordon? First 4 games have been poor in terms of performance in large parts, but 7 points and through to next round of cup. Take the positives. Eddie will sort it over the next 2 weeks.

No doubting any of what you say. He may well be nervous tonight though after 10 months out, just feel nervous for him, but I don't feel nervous about him playing for us - he's obviously a quality player.

Love in energy and ability this lad brings to the team. After the subs on Sunday we looked loads better with him being on the pitch. Barnes left, Gordon right and a midfield of Willock left, Bruno middle, Joelinton right could be the way forward ( I don't think Howe will start Tonali for a few games, he will come off the bench ). For me we have to find a way of getting Willock into the starting 11 (full fitness dependant of course).

2 indifferent performances.. 4 points...as daft as it sounds I find that quite positive..

Thought we were shite for middle 60 minutes of the game. I thought Eddie got his subs spot on today. For me if Joe willock is fully fit he must be ahead of longstaff in the pecking order.
