He didn’t once scan to see where his team mates were in the whole move, he was blatantly trying to control that for himself.

Burn is fine at left back defensively, he isn’t going to offer much going forward but it will free Trippier up to push on down the other side.

We need Gordon and Elanga to take it in turns drifting in to the middle, so when Woltemade drops deep and pulls the centre backs out of position they can exploit the space with their pace.

Good first half. We are giving it away trying Hollywood passes rather than playing it simple, other than that we have done well.

Botman was more at fault than Miley. He tried to let the ball go across him and use his body to shield it when he didn’t have the time.

We are one point behind on the same opposition as last season, and our performances have been better than our points total suggests. We just need to figure out how to get our attack to click, which will be easier when Gordon and Wissa are back but defensively we look excellent. Champions League football should be our target and I haven’t seen anything from the other clubs in the league to say we can’t do it.

The comparison with Henry always gets overblown, but he isn’t anywhere near that level but he might get there one day, he is more Van Persie level which is still world class on his day. As for Woltemade, he will have many better performances for us than that, but considering he has only had a few training sessions with his teammates, you can see the potential and what he will bring when the understanding is there and the routines are drilled in. His header was excellent and I can see him playing off Wissa.

Good luck to him, for all his quality on the ball he has an unbelievable work rate to match. Hopefully him and Woltemade can match the numbers of Isak and Wilson combined during their time here, which was a best of 30 league goal in a season.

7. It was a window we needed to have, bringing in numbers to dramatically boosts our squad depth and quality, a window that means we can add one or two per window now of high quality that improves the starting eleven. The situation with Isak was surreal at times and the way we stumbled through the window made us look shambolic. However, we got somewhere I am reasonably happy with at the end.

We have a lot more depth now compared to what we finished the season with, we could do with some more goals from midfield but other than that, I wouldn’t rush out and sign someone for the sake of it until we can evaluate where we are.

Could be selling someone.

Wissa, Jackson, Strand Larsen or someone off the radar. Of the three, I would prefer Strand Larsen but Jackson is the obvious one due to Chelsea being happy to sell, he has a high ceiling too if he can sort his finishing out.

Howe said himself on Saturday he wants one to complete the squad, or words similar to that.

Isak won’t be sold without Howe sanctioning it. I am at peace with Isak going, as long as a replacement comes in.

No idea, unless we are saying Chelsea have recalled Jackson to sell him to us, rather than because of Delaps injury?
