Like a new sale..? Or loan maybe?
-
Wouldn't the rest of the money count immidiately if we sell him? Would free up the wages mind, so better long term. But if it works this way, selling him would hurt our spending short term as the price would be way lower.

I honestly think Liverpool seem like the most likely one (still not necessarily likely), and they have proven that they sometimes like to do big money signings or bids. They may want a top class striker in the coming windows.
-
Yeah, but we have had discussions here about his consistency in the past, and most agreed back then that his weakness up until that point of his NUFC carreer was consistency. The difference between his off and on days were way above average back then. I'm talking about his first year here, which is easy to forget, because in the last year his less good performances has usually been caused by the reasons that you mentioned.
-
There has been times where he has gotten lost in games, but that is probably mostly due to playing with injury and being isolated etc. Scary to think about what he could do in a team where he has more support upfront. I also think he's being more consistent now than when we first signed him.

The original post was directed at clubs that has 1 big start amongst mediocre players. The car represents the star player and the house represents the squad. They're not talking about the city.
-
We would probably need to increase his wages if we want to keep him happy and settled here anyways. It obviously depends on what the clause would be.
-
He looked like an absolute world beater those months. It was crazy how good his form was.

It's kind of strange how much stress his body was put under during 22/23 without getting injured at all until the end. I suppose that getting 2 longer injuries in a row can make you more fragile in general? For example WIlson never really got injured until he suffered 2 serious knee injuries in a row aged 23-24. Even after that he missed 1 game between the end of 2017 and january 2019, and by then he was 27. After this the muscle injuries started piling up.

Looks painful and risky to run like that.

"emergency striker" it says, probably didn't find it since I googled midfielder.
-
Did this actually happen? Can't find any info on it.

I never said otherwise, I just find it strange that having married a rich person once somehow makes you entitled to a life in luxury by law pretty much regardless of how it goes. And didn't hear a single good argument as to why this should be the case, other than to not feel sorry for the even richer person.
-
If it's not child support, then my bad. If it was, I never feel sorry for rich people having to spend money, but that is a straw man argument. It's not about a rich guy having to spend money. It's the idea that having been married to a rich guy all of a sudden makes you entitled to money that most could ever dream of after the divorce. I could make the same straw man argument. Why would you feel sorry for someone in that situation? Poor woman who is still probably still wealthy and want to have even more luxury, I suppose! I'm sure she's really struggling to make ends meet unless she gets a million euros.
-
Ah, right, my bad. I forgot that if your ex husband is a rich guy, that automatically means that your child will cost you more than a million euros to maintain.
-
Why would the child need 1 mill euros in maintenance? And do you think all that money will be used on the child?
-
"French outlet Le Parisien reported that Evra owes just under €1 million in alimony to his ex-wife which he has avoided paying." 1 million ffs! What a system..
-
"I’m just trying to play football." Literally the opposite of what he was doing in that situation.
-
Haaland has the same goal ratio for Norway as he has at Man City. About the same ratio at Dortmund aswell. But sure, he only scores so much because he is getting the best service at Man City. Norwegian national team is such a luxury!

England isn't sitting deep like we have been at times, and they weren't facing great teams either. I think all our attacking players has suffered from the fact that we haven't been dominating large parts of any game so far. The conditions have been far from ideal.

I don't even remember the 6-0 game myself to be honest. Lucky me.

https://www.goal.com/en/lists/lucas-paqueta-betting-case-west-ham-despite-ongoing-spot-fixing-investigation/blt0f4ef590c87989af#cse9c24d58f3ab959b However, despite the charges hanging over him, the FA will allow Paqueta to play while the investigation is conducted. The outcome is not expected until close to the end of the season and may even go beyond that, due to the complexity of the case. His defence lawyers believe it will take months to secure the evidence they require to respond to the charges.

Was thinking the same the other day. Are they brushing under the carpet or what?
-
Maybe you are mixing it up with the 1-5 one? Could be he did really well in both, though. I still remember the 1-5 game, because despite conceding 5, he had one of the very best games I have seen from a goalkeeper ever. It was rumoured that he wanted to leave because of this game, don't know if that's what actually happened, but he left not long after. Edit: I see that someone else pointed it out.
