I’m not saying RA is a bad manager. There’s just something about your club, those players… I just can’t see much changing from the last manager. I think a lot of your players fear playing at OT. They’ll pull their fingers out once every 6 games or something just to keep their heads above water and then revert to type, this has been happening for years now. There’s no consistency, no identity. With Howe and us we have a very clear identity and it comes from EH. There’s a lot of disconnect at your club and it shows. Probably starts with the Glazers and Ratcliffe from the outside at least has been an absolute clown show. I mean the less said about the Ashworth situation the better

It just looks like you play exactly the same way as you did under EtH. Passing side to side in the final third, then back to Onana with no ability to break a side down mixed with catastrophic defensive lapses and a very hot and cold goalkeeper. The only bright lights being Fernandes and Amad. You’ll say these things take time but these players had time under EtH. Years of it. They weren’t capable of playing any other way, or they refused to. I just don’t see it changing. Added to this Amorim isn’t exactly the most inspiring of managers on the touchline. Staring at the ground and what have you.

I didn’t think Bournemouth had to do much for their win. Felt like if you scored, you’d shoot yourselves in the foot 2 mins later and Bournemouth would just score again. Zirkzee is a non-entity, as is Ugarte. Just constant unforced errors. Onana takes half an hour to make a pass. Your players are chasing shadows most of the time, so far off the pace. Unfortunately you’ll probably raise your game v us.

Caulkin’s grumpy old man schtick is really grating. He gets paid to watch Newcastle and he acts like he hates it. Grow up. And yeah he did get extra negative when AS and MG left, so did the true-faith lot. They used to be more balanced when we lost but now it’s one defeat and they blow the bloody doors off and start criticising PIF, Eddie etc and it started right after they left. Like they were normal and then went ultra bitter and petty because they had no more train rides with Mandy.
