  1. He’s not comfortably behind Murphy at all. He’s been injured for a month. Players come in and out the team, show good streaks and not so good streaks. Both Murphy and Almiron have some strengths and glaring weaknesses. They’re about even on balance. Miggy refuses to use his right foot which has cost us points. Murphy’s decision making is questionable at times. I don’t think Murphy is capable of getting the goal tally Miggy got last season. But also Eddie would seem to trust Murphy more in that wing back role because of his high tactical IQ. If you want a definitive answer for me, Miggy is the better player. That hot streak last season was unreal, yes he can’t replicate it, but I think Miggy’s peak performances have had bigger impacts on results than Murphy’s have over their time here. Murphy has a few assists recently but the beauty of this squad when it’s at its best is that if someone who is doing well does drop out of the team then you usually find that his replacement does equally good, if not better.
  2. Stressee moi? Jamais! lol suck it Kylian https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1787972086369059155?s=46&t=DcLbGwd6hoDY9gGMy-ZgEw
  3. Eh? He technically hasn’t even signed for us yet and his transfer will go permanent this summer. How are they signing him at the same time as we’re signing him.
  4. He’s got the tools and the perfect manager

Imagine if it’s Tosin or Kelly
  6. U18’s with two wins in three days vs Leeds (2-1) and Middlesbrough (4-3). Alfie Harrison netted in both. Sean Neave with another goal in a good season.
  7. Tonali Bruno G Joelinton Gordon Isak Williams
  8. Yeah, we should absolutely have no worries about this Manchester team pipping us to anything or when we play them at OT.

    Nick Pope

Aye. Think he can make the Euro squad along with Trippier, Tino, Hall, Longy, Gordy and Wilson.

  11. No affinity for Klopp. Not even an ounce of Stockholm syndrome. Just go away.
  12. Got a game on at Wembley if anyone’s interested
  13. Wouldn’t surprise if ham announce Moyes leaving at the end of the season after this.
  14. Big Dick Energy is back. Talking about their definitely real massive attendances and how our attendances collapsed to <8000 in the 70’s. Calls us “fickle” and says we have the record for lowest ever attendance in the north-east for a top flight game. He is incredibly weird. https://x.com/richenergyceo/status/1786751514465255901?s=46&t=DcLbGwd6hoDY9gGMy-ZgEw
  15. 19th In the form table and no win in 6. Big Joe, Miggy, Pope and Trippier back involved. Last home game of the season. Attitude needs to be right. None of this playing within ourselves, waiting for the oppo to spark us into life. Just go at them from the off. Don’t give Man U and Chelsea any hope they can get 6th, it’s in our hands.
  16. It really is a throwback having this HGV relic come on for us in big old 2024. His time as a player here is done now though.

    Jacob Murphy

3 assists in 2 games. He is the perfect squad player. Doesn’t cause problems, boosts morale of fans and teammates. Contributes when asked and pushes the levels of those ahead of him. When we were sending him out of loan to WBA and Sheff Wed I thought he was a goner, just didn’t see him carving out anything like the career he’s had here.
  18. Kompany “we played against a better team, simple as that”. Too right you did.
  19. You’re right. Sell.
  20. Not shite today ?
