If we could get a decent fee for a 30+ year old Wilson and replace him with an understoody to Isak, who'd presumably be able to support and learn across the 50-60 games we play, I'd think we'd be in a better position, if not short term then definitely long term imo Plus, Isak always seems knackered after 60 mins and has his own injury issues this season, there's a massive role for our second striker to play, whether Wilson or a new one

Yeah good point, can certainly think of more quality CB's than I can strikers, RW etc Though I do wonder if we have someone in mind for each position who we apparently followed for a long time, like we did Gordon, Isak, Tino etc where we are prepared to go big to get them

People have short memories, it wasn't long ago where people questioned Isaks ability/fitness and I even seen a few people say we should sell him to get a more reliable striker, now people are saying he's better than Shearer Willock was quality last season and has attributes non of our other midfielders have, really hope next season he gets a chance to shine again
