  1. Did they? Where was that reported? Here is the wording from https://www.efl.com/news/2024/august/28/carabao-cup-round-three-draw-confirmed/ Draw Conditions were implemented for the Carabao Cup Round Three draw due to the scheduling of European competition fixtures over two exclusive midweeks in September. Carabao Cup Round Three fixtures will take place W/C 16 & 23 September, with fixtures in the Champions League (W/C 16 September) and Europa League (W/C 23 September) also scheduled during this period. The additional dates required in the calendar for European competitions are as a result of an increased number of games for the 2024/25 season. To ensure there is no clash of fixture dates, conditions were implemented during the Round Three draw to ensure a Club participating in the Champions League does not draw a Club participating in the Europa League, to enable the Round Three fixtures to take place in the alternate week.
  2. I believe it is but the rule is that teams in the CL can't meet teams in the EL due to UEFA dates, so we can still play one of the other 5 CL teams assuming we qualify, it just so happened that this year all the European teams ended up with easy ties anyway and a CL team didn't draw Man U or Spurs (insert joke of choice about easy games against those two here) Bye to the third round aswell though so at least that's something!
  3. You'd think these websites would try a bit harder. Who thinks we'd spend £68 million on a player for one of if not the only position we've already got 2 credible/interchangable options, not to mention he's 27 in the summer and only six months younger than Barnes anyway, when we've got glaring needs elsewhere now or will have in 12 months time. Still they've made me bite so they've done their job
  4. Sounds like this year's adidas originals top
  5. Hooper If there's a positive to grasp he did the second leg of the semi final against these, but can't stand the guy, he's useless
  6. Gameweek 37 Villa 3-0 Spurs Chelsea 3-1 Man United Everton 3-1 Southampton West Ham 1-1 Forest Brentford 2-0 Fulham Leicester 3-3 Ipswich Arsenal 2-0 Newcastle Brighton 1-1 Liverpool Palace 1-1 Wolves Man City 3-1 Bournemouth
  7. He's comparing his good work standing up for and bringing attention to fewmin rights to a man who rescued Jewish child refugees fleeing Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Perfectly standard rational RTG poster
  8. Sels Munoz Van Dijk Saliba Robinson Tonali Tielemans Salah Cunha Semenyo Isak Something like that, would have had Mbuemo ahead of Semenyo but wanted to stick to where players play most often and not do a Garth Crooks
  9. Might be wishful hearing but I swear the shite "TOON" after "UNITED!" is gradually getting quieter and we're getting back to the claps. ✊🏻 Solidarity with all fellow clappers who have persisted so people eventually follow
  10. Maresca is a disgrace. Chelsea are a team full of decent players being coached by an imbecile. If they'd kept Pochettino they'd have run the scousers close this year
  11. A ridiculous thing to be thinking about but I really hope that a) we're sorted after next weekend and/or b) the mackems go out in the week, can't be fucked with that little cunt in Everton's goal dropping a Gordon Banks the day after they've won or lost a playoff final and he can potentially cost us Champions League football and him being/putting himself the centre of attention, the fucking tramp
  12. Wish I could find it but after Southampton at home on the first day I said something along the lines of he embodied what it was like to be one of us with his performance putting everything on the line to get us over the line. He's subsequently basically maintained that level all season. Immense.
  13. It means more when you join their inexorable march to the promised land though mate 😂 fucking idiots
  14. Aye, this is more or less where I am, pick up the points we should have done/should do and get to at least 2 points a game on average for a season, then we're set to start knocking on the door of winning the league
  15. Fuck Liverpool supporters, any reminder they get that the world doesn't revolve around their fucking city and club is a welcome one, good craic before and after the cup final or not. Scouse cunts
  16. Hilarious they've won fuck all aswell, they were dirty as fuck from when Wenger came in to when Vieira left (so when Vieira was there 😅) but took the trophies home to justify being arseholes

    Football pet hates

When a random player scores an unbelievable goal and the comms/pundits/anyone gives it the "if Messi or Ronaldo scored that we'd be talking about it for weeks". Aye, because great players do that every other week, not once or twice during their careers
  18. Nawwwwwwwf Landaaaaaaaaaan Fawwwwwwwweva GET TO FUCK INTO THESE FUCKING FALAFEL EATING BORING SHITCUNTS!

    Emil Krafth

This, his 1v1 duels against Cucurella if you didn't know who the Euros winning Spanish player was you'd pick out Krafthy all day long
  20. The straw for all the promoted teams to clutch at should the mental bastard sack him
  21. Thought he was top drawer off the ball today, in the first half in particular, was always moving to block the pass to Palmer
  22. Can we sign him on July 1st and sell him to Al-Somecunts for £20m on the 2nd?
  23. Arsenal are done, they can get to fuck even thinking about turning up next week
  24. Feels like a proper niggly one today for me, stuck loads of fouls on my bet builder even without Joelinton playing
