It’s 5 of the front 6 that have been here for multiple seasons now, can’t be pinning this on Wolte still.
-
I just don’t know why we don’t start games aggressively anymore unless it’s against one of the big 6. It’s proper pissing me off and I’m sick of it.
-
Still in this winning run, we’ve not been anything like us of past seasons. All painful stuff and stumbling along.
-
Christ, that press the was fucking awful by us. Everyone was one man too late then Thaiw had to cover where he was never getting there. Awful start yet again.
-
3 booked for dissent Enjoy your compo in March Leory.
-
Not drop, but Tonali rotated out for a rest, or even Bruno.
-
He’s comfortably behind the 3 CMs. It’s like when Barnes was starting ahead of Elanga at RW, it’s a poor indictment of a big money transfer.
-
I am surprised it’s same midfield three for third game in a row. Really doesn’t paint Ramsey in a good light.
-
I’m hoping we absolutely come out flying. We need to take advantage of another home game and these having played many tough games, and take the game out of it being any sort of tricky situation by HT.
-
This new West Ham striker already smells like a dud.
-
Good job they backed Edu just to sack him off this month.
-
Forest are shite. Never understood the Dyche appointment and never will, because Marinakas got rid of Nuno, who’s a better / more fun version of Dyche.
-
Tuchel > Man Utd Howe > England Luis Enrique > Newcastle
-
100% Nuno or Dyche if either loses.
-
He still wants the 100 prem goals so will surely stay in prem?
-
Is he back for this game? Said other week this was the ideal run for him to find form, but if ends up missing Palace / Leeds / Bournemouth home games, that boat will have sailed. Not sure how he then gets a proper chance because the other three wingers will always be favoured ahead of him, so it’s 10-15 mins at best coming off bench, where it’s hard to get anything going. Always will love Murphy, but his performance on Sunday showed why we needed a RW. And that will always be the case for 2nd of season because he’s ahead of Elanga

Hopefully back to the Staveley days. Do the business quiet then BAM “HERE WE GO, X travelling to Newcastle for medical after bid accepted for £Xm”
-
And top shagger.

Pope: Miley, Thaiw, Botman, Tino: Ramsey, Tonali, Joelinton: Gordon, Wolte, Barnes That’s my predicted team. Height in the defence, with Botman favoured over Schar for the psychical battle in the air. Bruno the one rested with Tonali favoured as above (be shocked if we go with same three for 3rd time, and wouldn’t be a good indiction of Ramsey). Barnes RW because Murphy was that poor.
-
I hope we go full throttle for this game. Can full rest at weekend in FA Cup, let’s get back to the hard full tempo play please.
-
What a shame Everyone outside of Manchester knew he was a dud last season, wasted so much time persisting for no reason but for Berrada to save face. Hopefully they double down and appoint someone like Glasner.
-
I do wonder how many starts we will see from Wolte for rest of season if Wissa is now fully fit? I suspect Wissa will start more, which I’m not keen because it would be a sign that Howe is defaulting back to previous ways.
-
Can never dispute his off the ball, his recovery and sensing danger and making it a non situation is elite, and was again yesterday. But with the poor he was dire yet again, losing it needlessly, poor passes. He’s a £50m+ CM, we need him to be far better with the ball.
-
That wasn’t pretty first 60, but job done in the end. Howe was talking about plan A before game, not sure what the heck plan A was suppose to be today. We looked better when the game had moments of chaos to it, where it could be stretched. We are a really abject side with the ball and it’s slow, but when open, we’re a strong good side. Joelinton was a mountain today. Tonali woeful yet again.

Trippier on a match day is low-key important. As I bet he’s still such a huge guy in changing room.
